✨ Another Throwback ✨

This lovely drawing by Ajanae is one that has stayed in our hearts over the years. Featuring some of the very special horses we have loved and lost, it beautifully captures the bond between our young riders and the animals that mean so much to them. ❤️🐴

The passion, dedication and love that our riders have for our horses is what makes our riding school so special. Although this picture still brings a few tears, it also brings so many wonderful memories and reminds us that those we have lost are never forgotten.

Thank you again, Ajanae, for creating something that continues to bring comfort and smiles all these years later. 💕

We would like to wish Ruby and her family every happiness with her new pony, Charlie. ❤️

Charlie has been part of our school family for an incredible 17 years and is now ready to enjoy the retirement he truly deserves. We couldn't be happier that Ruby has offered him the perfect forever home where we know he will be loved and spoiled rotten!

Over the years, Charlie has been an amazing riding school pony. Although he could be a little cheeky at times, he was always one of the firm favourites with both students and staff alike.

Enjoy every moment of your retirement, Charlie. We will miss you like mad, but knowing how happy and loved you'll be makes saying goodbye a little easier. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. ❤️🐴 xx

Today we're taking a trip down memory lane to 2013, when the lovely Jenny was riding Billy shortly after he first arrived with us. ❤️

Don't they both look terrific? It's hard to believe how quickly the years have flown by! We love looking back at these special memories and seeing how far we've all come together. 🐴✨

🐾 Introducing our newest (self-appointed) therapist… Scooby! 😄

It seems our long-term resident cat Scooby has discovered the peace and calm of our therapy room and quite frankly, he's made himself very much at home! 🛋️✨

We're not entirely sure whether he now considers himself the official therapist on duty, but honestly… we're not mad about it! 😂🐱

There's something pretty special about a purring cat to help melt the stress away. Maybe he was onto something all along! 🐾💛

Welcome to the team, Scooby, we'll let you take it from here! 😄

🎉 What an incredible end to the term! 🎉

Our Open Day fundraiser for CAFT was an absolute success, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone who took part! 🌱🍰

Students and staff came together to showcase their creativity through some wonderful homemade baking and plant pot making and the results were absolutely brilliant!

Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, we raised an amazing £175 for CAFT! 💚 Every penny will make a real difference, and we are so grateful to each and every one of you.

A huge highlight of the day was welcoming our lovely primary school visitors. It was so wonderful to see them enjoy their visit and get involved in the fun! 🌟

A very special thank you to all the team, you were all absolutely amazing! 👏

🐴🐇🌾 Learning looks a little different here, and that's exactly the point.

We're an independent special educational needs school based on a working farm, and every single day looks something like this:

🐎 A young person who struggled with anxiety walks calmly alongside a horse for the first time.
🐰 A pupil who found it hard to communicate gently holds a rabbit and says "hello" quietly, but clearly.
🌱 A student who'd never felt successful at school fills a feed bucket with pride and purpose.

Animals have an extraordinary ability to reach children that traditional classroom settings sometimes can't. Here on the farm, our pupils build confidence, develop communication skills, learn responsibility, and most importantly, begin to believe in themselves. 💚

We believe every child deserves an education that works for them. For our young people, that education often starts with four legs, a warm nose, and a bit of fresh farm air. 🌤️
