Marley Moo having his regular physio session with 💛
This handsome boy was the first dog I treated in one of the previous hydrotherapy centres I worked at several years ago - to see how well he is doing years later is incredible - how lucky is he to have an owner that looks after him so well 🫶🏻 and of course the team of therapists that have treated him over the years 👏🏻

This waggy boy has been managing so well doing his physio with 👏🏻
Ralph can be a little bit challenging when it comes to sitting still for laser and massage because he is so high on life - even despite his hip dysplasia diagnosis!
He took to the underwater treadmill like a dream and we can’t wait to see his progress as we manage his stiffness/ discomfort 🥰

Why should you continue laser therapy with your dog at a maintenance level? ⚡️
The dog in the video (Ivy) has weekly hydrotherapy sessions and has also had a couple of courses of laser therapy in the past. As I'm sure most hydrotherapists, physiotherapists, vets and vet nurses will agree, we don't always listen to the advice we give out when it comes to our own pets! 🙈
Ivy is prone to inflammation and tension/ spasm in her back because she has hip dysplasia and loves frolicking in fields like an idiot.
Unfortunately she often has notable flare ups and this video shows the laser targeting the inflamed area of her back, which is uncomfortable for her to start and then eases off.
If we kept her laser sessions at a maintenance level we would probably avoid any inflammatory flare ups so that is what we will strive to do and I encourage everyone else to do the same so we don't have set backs like Ivy does 💛

We’ve seen so much improvement with Diva’s mobility and osteophytosis since starting laser and hydro.
She has a distinct swelling in one of her hocks which has dramatically reduced with laser & her owners are seeing her with so much more energy out on walks 🥰

Diva is also a lover of the monkey toy which she likes to borrow off Ivy for her sessions 🐵🥺

Lexi has started hydrotherapy to help with a few conditions she has going on - she has hip dysplasia and previously had bilateral cruciate surgery a few years ago. Unfortunately arthritis is now also creeping in, especially on one of her elbows. She is a very nervous girly when it comes to new things but she did so well with her first session 👏🏻 we can’t wait to see the progress she will make!

Hydro is no problem when there's a peanut butter lick mat involved!!

*This is my own dog and she is the only dog who doesn't wear a harness or have a hydrotherapist inside the treadmill with her - it's the best way for me to get a video as a solo worker! 🐾
If anyone does get some nice pics or videos, please do send them over!! 😊
