🥓 Our first attempt at bacon 😋 Looking forward to trying it , as we speak it’s being cooked an oooo the smell is amazing. 🥓

🐖 Our First Field Farrowing Numbers 5, 6 & 7 for 2026 🐖

After a very busy few weeks, we’ve had another 3 gilts farrow successfully. Farming always comes with its ups and downs, and although we sadly had a few losses along the way, we’re pleased to have 14 healthy piglets alive from 18 born.

The smallholding is definitely full of life at the moment, and we’re looking forward to watching these little ones grow over the coming weeks. 🌾🐷

Sows finally moved back outside they loved stretching there legs after being cooped up with there babies a little to much as one decided she would go in when she was ready 🙄
