PD Zola has successfully passed her training and is officially working with Police Scotland.

From a starved, neglected pup to a dog now going out there protecting others… a real journey.

Proud to have trained and supplied her, and to see the level she’s reached.

Wishing her and her handler all the best going forward.

This is where control and stability start to get tested.

When you’ve got movement, other dogs, people around… and you take yourself out of it, you start to see what’s actually been built into the dog.

There’s no input here, no managing it.

The dog either holds position, stays clear and composed… or it doesn’t.

That’s why this isn’t about obedience.

It’s about whether the dog can maintain its role when things change and pressure starts to build.

Because in real scenarios, you don’t get perfect setups and you don’t get to control everything around you.

You get what you’ve built.

Stability here translates to reliability under stress

That doesn’t just happen, it’s built through structured development.

The fun thing is… we can offer affection to a dog, but they decide what they enjoy and how much

6 dogs here, all enjoying it in different ways.

Some want butt scratches, some want belly rubs, some lean right in… and one just launches himself at me

We can’t force our version of affection onto dogs. That’s where things go wrong.
