Among the many breeds regularly looking for new homes are often retired Greyhounds and Lurchers. A minimum suggested donation for adopting one of our dogs is £175 from 1s

t November 2022 to help towards the running of the rescue centre. This does not cover the costs of helping just one dog but at least enables us to continue our operation

So much goes on behind the scenes in rescue.
It has been a very tough week after Blaze, one of the Pug crosses presented unwell.
After a worrying time our amazing vet, Hugh Hawkins, removed a foreign body (a leather tag from a ladies handbag!) and today she finally got reunited back into her foster trial with her soon to be adopter.
Thanks to all the vets and nurses at MEDIVET Leamington who have cared for Blaze all week.
More TLC needed to get her to complete recovery but everything crossed for her and being back home will do wonders for her.
It’s a huge undertaking for rescues who work very hard to raise the funds needed.
