🏆 What a day at the Working Test hosted by Canine In-tuition 🏆

With 35 competitors taking part in the ND/NH, there was some fantastic competition and plenty of challenging retrieves throughout the day.

Incredibly proud to say that Deb and Chili absolutely smashed it, taking 🥇 1st Place and also earning the ⭐ Judges’ Choice Award ⭐ — a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved.

Ruby and I were also delighted to finish in 4th Place amongst such strong competition.

A huge well done to everyone who competed, and thank you to the organisers, judges, helpers and dummy throwers who make these events possible.

Today belongs to Deb and Chili though… what a result! 🎉🐾

Ruby came 4th in yesterday’s Three Ridings Labrador Club ND/NH Working Test.

She put in a nice bit of work and handled the day well — we’ll take that 👍

Reading an interview in the Gundog Journal and it’s hard to disagree with this answer.

Before listening to a trainer, look at their own dogs.
Look at what they’ve achieved.
Look at how they handle dogs in front of them.

In the end, the dogs usually tell you everything you need to know.

You can have a lovely day with some trainers and leave having learnt absolutely nothing.

One whistle too many, but the Alpha ACME Whistles 211.5 got the A K Gundog Dummy picked with relative ease. Good work Ruby.

Ruby & Chili working nicely today 🐾

Walked to heel, released on cue, then stopped and recalled on the ACME Whistles 211½.
