Hi, my name is Sandra Graham and we at Nikisan Miniature Schnauzer Breeders are based in Leek, Staffordshire. We have owned miniature schnauzers for 33 years and been showing them for 11 years. Although our dogs are primarily our pets and live in our home (very much part of our family) we are immensely proud of what they’ve achieved in the show ring. We strive to produce the highest breeding stand

ard, healthy dogs with excellent temperaments. We occasionally have pups available to, carefully vetted, suitable owners. Our dogs are BVA eye tested and Mac tested clear also Sulley and Ginny have both health tested clear for the laboklin miniature schnauzer bundle of health tests and all our puppies are vet checked, BVA eye tested, wormed , microchipped and have a comprehensive puppy pack (including 4 weeks insurance). Jemma Ladwitch took her three-year-old springer spaniel Bobby to a tulip festival in Pontefract on April 17. An hour after leaving she noticed his breathing had become erratic. He had started drooling. By the time she reached the vet he was blind and suffering seizures.

He died three hours after leaving the festival.

The vet told her immediately. Tulips are highly toxic to dogs. They can cause breathing difficulties, seizures and death through ingestion of the flower, bulb or even contaminated soil.

Ladwitch said she had never known.

She wants every dog owner to know now.

The festival has since added new on-site signage and updated its website. The RSPCA has reminded pet owners that tulips, daffodils, lilies, peonies and hyacinths can all be toxic to cats and dogs and urged anyone who suspects their pet has ingested one to seek veterinary help immediately. 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥SOMETHING FOR ALL DOG OWNERS TO BE AWARE OF WHEN OUT ABD ABOUT WITH OUR PUPSTERS
