Hi all 👋

I wanted to share this as I’ve recently had a couple cancel their booking with me due to my pregnancy, despite their wedding being well before my due date, and it’s made me realise I should reassure my other lovely clients who have already booked me (or are thinking of booking).

Yes, I’m pregnant 🤍 but I am fully committed to all bookings already in my diary and I would never take on a wedding or other events that I couldn’t confidently deliver on.

My due date is well before or after the majority of this year’s bookings, I’ve not taken on any bookings around my due date or afterwards, and I’ve carefully planned my work around it so that every couple gets the same care, energy and reliability I’ve always given.

Photography is my livelihood, especially with me only accessing statutory maternity pay when baby arrives, so please know that I would never put a couple in a position of uncertainty or let anyone down.

If you ever have questions or need reassurance, my inbox is always open — thank you endlessly for the trust you place in me 🫶

Merry Christmas everyone ❤️ it’s been a tough year loosing my beautiful father’s and my ilness becoming end stage 👎

I will be taking a little step back from taking on so many weddings so I can concentrate on the salon and the ones I have booked. I think after the dreadful car fire and letting the lovely bride down this year I just need to concentrate on my current bookings and my health.

It’s been a tough old year with loosing my wonderful dad and being told I’m finally in end stage renal failure 💔 but fear not I’ve been put forward for the transplant list and I will keep on working because that’s what my beautiful father taught me to be a grafter no matter what 💪

Hi all,
Today I did for the first time something I’d thought I’d never do. I let a bride down. Right at the last minute on the day. I’ve been besides myself all day about it as like all my brides she is such a lovely lady.
Very early this morning I had trouble starting my car but it did and I let my bride know I’d only just left. 5 ish mins away from her farm my car set on fire whilst I was trying to pull it too a stop as I had I lost all power and the breaks….(power assist had gone)
By the time I could pull it too a stop 100 meters down a small incline fire was dropping out of my emgine. Thankfully my doors didn’t lock shut!
Typically my phone had died by a lovely man was right there called for fire and police and then a car full of ladies on their way too work stopped and let me charge my phone so I could ring my bride….(I was in hysterics and I’m mortified but I had too ring her) then 2 brilliant lads from Lymer doors stayed with me as I was in a bit of a state Till my sister and recovery came. Not only did I need fire and police but the MOD turned up as it’s army training ground 😕
Why am I righting this post? Because I’m gutted I’ve let someone down but I wanted people too know I’d go to the ends if the earth for them and their weddings and it’s never my intention too let anyone down.
