Beautiful black leather dressage saddle. Excellent condition - no marks or scratches. Very comfortable.

Front panels are flair and the back panels are flocked. I’ve never owned a flair saddle until this and it made such a huge different to my horse’s way of going, much freer in the shoulder.

17.5 MW - I’ve used it on a 16.1hh ISH (75% TB).

Long girth straps and adjustable knee blocks for a tailored fit.

Only for sale as I have sadly lost my horse.

Hot tips 🥵🌞🐎

This weekend is a hot one with temperatures reaching 29°c 🥵☀️

An average horse can drink up to 10-15 gallons of water in hot weather like this, that’s anywhere from 50 to 68 litres! Best to keep those waters clean, easy to access and topped up at all times 😊

How to test if your horse is dehydrated:
A test that you can do to check if your horse is dehydrated is the ‘skin-pinch test’. To do this pinch the skin near the point of the shoulder, If the skin snaps back quickly then your horse is sufficiently hydrated. If it takes the skin a few seconds to snap back, or a crease is left, this often means that your horse is moderately dehydrated.

A great tip for giving your horse a boost of hydration in this weather is to give your horses watermelon! 🍉😀 it’s a yummy treat which is completely safe and is made up of 92 percent water 💦 A horse will still need water, but ingesting watermelon can help 😊
