While scanning, vet Hamish spotted something very unusual - this cow is pregnant with not one, not two, but FOUR calves! 🐄🐄🐄🐄

Hamish has never seen, done, or even heard of this happening before - a truly remarkable find!

With so many vets out on the road every day, we run an extensive fleet of vans, pickups, and cars - and keeping them in top condition is no easy job!

We’ve seen a surge in lungworm cases recently, due to the warm, wet weather - and this post-mortem shows just how severe the burden can be.

As we move into late summer and autumn, keep an eye out for coughing and other signs in your cattle. Outbreaks can escalate quickly, and a large build-up of dead worms in the lungs can make treatment less effective.

💩 Suspect infection? We can test for lungworm in house - just drop a dung sample into any of our farm branches.

💉 Thinking ahead? There’s also a vaccine available, so speak to one of our vets if you’re considering vaccinating in the herd for next season.

Early action is key to protecting your herd. Stay vigilant!
