Flystrike is a serious, potentially fatal condition that can affect rabbits during warmer months. Flies are attracted to soiled fur and can lay eggs, leading to maggot infestations within hours.

Grass seeds may seem harmless, but they can cause serious problems for pets, especially dogs. These tiny seeds can get lodged in ears, paws, and fur, leading to painful infections, swelling, and even abscesses if left untreated.

It is advisable to check their paws, ears, and coat after walks, and avoid grassy areas! If you notice any signs of licking or irritation, contact us for advice on 01473 555000
