🚨☀️ HEATWAVE WARNING ☀️🚨

Do not walk your dog during peak temperatures.
In hot weather, walking your dog can quickly become dangerous and may lead to heatstroke, which is a life-threatening emergency. During extreme temperatures, it is far safer to skip a walk than risk your dog's health.

If your dog needs exercise:
🐾 Walk early in the morning before temperatures rise
🐾 Walk late in the evening once temperatures have cooled
💧 Always take water with you
🌳 Choose shaded routes
🔥 Avoid hot pavements and strenuous activity

If temperatures remain high into the evening, avoid walking your dog altogether and provide mental stimulation at home instead.

Please see our temperature guide below to understand how heat can affect your pet.

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke include excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, wobbliness or collapse. If your dog is showing any of these signs, call us immediately on 📞 01473 555000
