Exciting news for your birthday pups!

We now have ‘birthday pup’ bandanas at K9 Meadows – perfect for marking your pups' special day with a fun picture! Bring your pups along on their birthday, grab a bandana, strike a pose, and snap the ultimate birthday pic.

You’ll find the bandanas in the shelters – just be sure to pop them back when you’re done please so other lucky pups can enjoy them too.

We can’t wait to see pictures of your birthday stars looking absolutely fabulous at K9 Meadows!

Have you spotted the new mini jumps in Scoopydoo and Snoopee?

We know not every pup is keen on jumping through hoops (literally!), so we’ve added these little hurdles to offer a different kind of agility challenge - perfect for those who like a bit more variety in their workouts!

Of course, if your pups are anything like some of ours, they might choose to stroll under the jumps rather than leap over them. Either way, we think they’ll have fun doing things their own way!

The wooded area in Snoopee is a big hit with our visitors! It’s the perfect spot for pups to enjoy some serious sniffing adventures – so many scents, sights, and sounds to explore. Whether they’re following a trail or just taking in the smells, it’s always a joy to watch them having such a great time!

As the weather warms up, please do not leave your dogs in the car - not even for a few minutes. It doesn't have to be hot outside for the inside of a car to become dangerously hot. Even on a mild day, temperatures inside a parked car can rise rapidly, putting your dogs at serious risk of heatstroke, or worse.

Unless your car is very well ventilated, it’s simply not safe. The truth is: your dog’s life is not worth the risk.

So please: when you're out and about this spring and summer, make the kindest choice: leave your pups at home if they can't come with you wherever you're going. Thank you.

New to K9 Meadows? Here’s how it works:

1. Book online
Visit www.K9Meadows.com, choose the field you'd like to use, then select your preferred date and time.

2. Check your emails
You’ll receive an email with directions to K9 Meadows and the current gate code.

3. On arrival
Use your code to unlock the padlock then drive into your private, enclosed parking area. Once you’re inside, you’ll be in a fully secure space where your pups can safely enjoy off-lead freedom.

4. Enjoy your time
Each booking gives you 50 minutes of exclusive use of the field. You’ll have the place entirely to yourself.

Did you know? The K9 Meadows team is on site twice a day, every day, to make sure everything is in great shape for you and your pups. Each morning, we do a full walkaround. We check the boundary fences, swap muddy tennis balls for clean ones, refill the poo bag stores, top up the water butts if needed, clear up any stray poos, inspect the growing hedgerows and poplars, restock the treat jars, and much more.

In the evening, we refill all the water bowls, empty the poo bins, carry out a final general inspection, and make sure the gates are locked for the night. Of course, there’s plenty more we do in terms of bigger maintenance jobs and new features - but luckily those aren’t part of the daily routine!

So, if you ever see us on site (or even out and about!), come and say hi - we love meeting K9 Meadowers and their pups!

A GENTLE REMINDER:

As we’re still waiting to be connected to mains water, we regularly bring fresh water to the fields ourselves to make sure your pups stay hydrated. Each field has at least three bowls and a bucket, so please do make sure your pups have access to water during your visits. We just ask that you use it thoughtfully and avoid waste, such as leaving taps running or bowls overflowing (or upending the bowls).

We always try and do our best for your pups but those containers are HEAVY! 😉

Did you know the paw print in the K9 Meadows logo isn’t just a design element? It’s actually the real paw print of our beloved pup, the late Ashley.

Ash was our very first dog, over 20 years ago – a handsome Staffy/German Shepherd cross with the biggest heart. He was loving, clever, sweet, and truly one of a kind. When we started planning K9 Meadows, it felt only right to give him a lasting place in this new adventure.

That paw print is his. His “signature”. A small but meaningful way of making sure he’s part of this beautiful venture – one that’s all about giving pups the space, freedom, and joy they deserve.

Ash lives on here, in every wag, every run, every happy visit. And we still miss him every day.
