Happy International Dog Day from all of us at K9 Meadows!

Today we're celebrating the ever-faster zoomies, the muddy pawprints on clean floors, and the enthusiastic tail wags that knock over drinks. We are celebrating brown dogs, black dogs, patchwork dogs and everything in between. Whether your pups prefer sprinting across our fields like they're on a mission, barking at invisible squirrels, or making a beeline for the treat jars: we love every single one of them and today we celebrate them all.

Our lives would be so empty without our pups - and our social media feeds would be much less fun without pictures of your pups having a blast at K9 Meadows! Big news for Snoopee! If you’ve been to Scoopydoo, you might recognise this brilliant A-frame; and we’re excited to say one just like it is being built for Snoopee. We’ll post an update as soon as it’s on site and ready to use.

That’s not all: we’ve also got more pieces of agility equipment in the pipeline for both fields, so there’ll be even more for your pups to enjoy on their visits.

250+ FREE visits for rescue pups: and we’re just getting started!

Since opening in October K9 Meadows has given away over 250 free visits to families of rescue pups; because every pup deserves a safe space to run, play, and just be a dog. That equals to more than £3,250 gone towards helping rescue pups. And we are looking forward to donating more!

Within the K9 Meadows team we've been rehoming rescue pups for over 20 years, and we currently have a healthy number of rescue pups ourselves - and we know that some rescues aren’t ready for busy public spaces… sometimes they will never be. And that’s absolutely OK. At K9 Meadows these special pups can zoom, sniff, and wag without worry.

And by continuing to donate free visits, maybe, just maybe, we will inspire more people to open their hearts and homes to rescue pups in need.

Here’s to hundreds more happy rescue tails finding their safe space at K9 Meadows! 🎉🥰

- Scoopydoo now has a temporary paddling pool - small-ish but perfect for pups
