It was over two years ago the photographing and filming of the lambs took place at Miller’s Ark …here is a little glimpse into the delightful characters ….

If you haven’t managed to get along to the cinema yet …it’s a must! After that get to meet the adult stars (and this years lambs) on the farm!

Dave has been strutting his feathers and displaying this week during open days… Arnold (whose alter ego is being a turkey) is hanging out with his mate Dave … Davina (Dave’s lady) you can just see, not impressed walking off in the distance!

Our Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep feature as a flock in their own right in the film “The Sheep Detectives” and it is a delight to see them used. When animal scouts visit the farm to choose sheep for productions, the Swiss Valais are often turned down due to their dense black facial wool, meaning there is very little light and shadow definition and it is difficult to see their eyes.
Westie, our beautiful senior Swiss Valais ram, was used as the leader of the flock and was given one line in French!
