Waffle went home late morning just as Maisie arrived. At first Zorro wasn’t too sure what this little whirling dervish was, but she gradually wore him down! After he went home mid afternoon, Maisie settled down for a cuddle until her Mum came to collect her, barking furiously at the Trick or Treaters as she left. Philip managed to get these photos during a lull in my office!

It was lovely seeing old friendships renewed yesterday with Axel & Zorro. They hadn’t met for a few years but were soon playing. Then Waffle joined them and initially I was a little concerned about the disparity in size, but before long, she too was joining in with the boys.

Milo and Greta were here for daycare yesterday so it wasn’t quiet! Greta has got used to her regular Thursday visit and trots in quite happily, joining in with what’s going on. Uncle Philip was in charge for a few hours and managed to get these lovely photos.

I had another guest free night which meant a bed to myself and no early visit to the garden. I have daycares arriving soon but at the moment, it’s all very peaceful. I have delved back into the archives again and this was taken an incredible 12 years ago. It shows me with two of my adored Border Terrorists, Leo & Dido, sadly no longer with us. How time flies!

After a guest free night, I am sitting here awaiting the arrival of daycares Leo and Geri. It won’t bother them being the only guests as it means that they get my full attention. Geri will probably spend her time on ‘her’ sofa while Leo will either be where I am or stretched out on the chaise.

I’ve gone back into the archives for this one and I can’t date it exactly but I think around 2017! It shows Alan with Joey in one of his favourite places, and Drew in his! All three have sadly now left us but I like to think of this scene being reenacted in Heaven. God Bless them all.

It was just Zebedee again yesterday and he does a lot of laying around now as he is quite an elderly gentleman. That suited me as I was tired from the night before. He likes to know where I am and spent the morning on my office floor while I was attending my online Mass. Later, Philip managed to get this lovely photo of him .

Maisie duly arrived and Zebedee looked resigned to a day of being urged to play! He did run around for a short time then fatigue took over because he is an elderly gentleman now! Maisie didn’t mind. She’d had fun and was quite happy following me around as I did odds and ends. Eventually she settled in one of her favourite places, the arm of the sofa. When Arnie arrived early evening, he and Zeb took it in turns to go out in the pouring rain, so Philip spent most of his evening drying them off which apparently Arnie loved as he kept going around for another go whether he needed it or not!

Zebedee will be joined shortly by Maisie who is coming for daycare and later on by Arnie. I doubt it will be quiet or peaceful but it certainly won’t be dull!

It was a quiet day yesterday as none of my usual Thursday daycares were here, just Zebedee who quite seemed to enjoy the peace and quiet. I found it quite strange! Today he will be joined by Waffle the dachshund who is coming for daycare. He does like not having to share the bed with any other guests! Sometimes I think he’d rather I wasn’t there either!
