*SCAM MICROCHIP COMPANY*

We have been made aware by a few client’s that there has been an email circling from a company claiming to be a microchip database. The email states that their pets microchips are not registered and then charging a fee for them to be ‘registered’. This company is a scam and the microchips are not being registered anywhere.

If you receive this email and have any queries about whether your pet’s microchip is registered to the correct place please contact the practice and one of the nurses will be happy to assist with this.

We have very sadly just had a deceased female tuxedo (black with white chest and abdomen) cat handed in following an RTA in Sible Hedingham at the Halstead junction just up from Wash Farm. Unfortunately she is not microchipped. Sadly she has also got milk but on palpation not currently pregnant meaning she likely has kittens somewhere. If you think this is your cat please contact us. This sad situation really highlights the importance of neutering and microchipping cats.

Her attention to detail is phenomenal, and we just had to share it with you. It’s not even fully finished yet, but when she brought it in today, we were absolutely blown away. Who would like to join the wonderful team we have here at Linkswood?

We are looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly, independent practice on the Essex/Suffolk border.

Since opening, we’ve built a strong and supportive team, currently made up of 5 full-time and 6 part-time vets, alongside 15 RVNs, 2 student nurses and 3 full-time VCA’s.

We are seeking an RVN who is confident, enthusiastic, and motivated, with a genuine passion for all aspects of nursing. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expanding and progressive team environment regularly performing orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries including laparoscopic spays, TECA's and BOAS.

The role includes:
• Full-time hours across 4 days per week
• A fixed day off each week
• 1 in 6 weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 9am–1pm)
• A weekly 10pm inpatient check (paid in addition to salary)

* FOUND DOG *

We have had a red roan cocker spaniel handed in to us, found as a stray in the Sisted/Braintree bypass/coggeshall road area. Chipped but unfortunately we are unable to get through to the phone number registered to the chip. If you believe this dog may be yours please contact the practice. Proof of ownership will be required upon collection.
