We are looking for a caring, qualified enthusiastic, and reliable Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to join our friendly and dedicated team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and enjoys working in a busy veterinary environment where no two days are the same.
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary surgeons and registered veterinary nurses while ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional care and attention to our animal patients.
- Assisting veterinary surgeons and nurses with patient handling and restraint.
- Preparing consulting rooms, theatre, and equipment for procedures.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining clinical areas to a high standard.
- Feeding, exercising, and monitoring inpatients.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and stock levels.
- Ensuring the practice remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Confident in handling a range of species.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.
