Your dog's safety always comes first, so with the warm weather I will be adjusting our routine to keep everyone cool.
🐾 Shorter walks in shaded areas or garden visits.
🧊 Frozen treats (Greek yoghurt & blueberries today!).
👃 Indoor enrichment (featuring snuffle matt)

Today we headed out earlier for a quick toilet stroll while it was cooler, then came home for frozen treats and indoor fun.

🌡️ Tomorrow looks even hotter, so we'll most likely be sticking to garden visits and indoor games to keep everyone safe, cool, and happy. 🐶💙

☀️ Warmer Weather Reminder ☀️
As we head into the warmer months, I’ll be monitoring each dog carefully during walks and visits 🐶
Please keep me updated on how your dog is coping with the warmer weather, as every dog and every day can be different.
On hotter days we may:
🐾 Do shorter walks
🐾 Spend more time in shaded areas
🐾 Swap walks for garden visits or quick toilet breaks if it’s really hot
I’ll always make sure dogs have:
💧 Fresh water
🌳 Access to shade and cool areas
🐕 Plenty of rest when needed
Dogs don’t sweat like we do - panting is their main way of cooling down, so it’s important to keep an eye on their body language and energy levels.
I’m also looking into making some DIY frozen treats for them 🍓🧊🐾
