THE PACK IS GROWING!

I’m so excited to introduce a brand new member of The Dog Lassie Team; Sally.

Sally has over 15 years’ experience in animal care including kennels, catteries, rescue work, and has been gaining more dog (and even cat 👀) grooming experience attending college and has a particular passion and patience for nervous and anxious dogs.

With Sally joining the team, I’m really pleased to be able to open my books to new clients and expand the services we offer within the community, while continuing to provide the high standard, calm, caring approach you all know and trust.

I know your dogs are going to feel safe, calm, and well cared for with her.

Here’s a little bit about Sally; in her own words.

A true animal lover, Sally adores dogs of all shapes and sizes. She currently shares her home with two crossbreeds — Daffy, a Chihuahua x Jack Russell, and Hudson, a Boerboel (South African Mastiff) x Rhodesian Ridgeback — proving she really does love both little and large! Her animal family also includes a very elderly leopard gecko called Bumble Bee and two ferrets, Baldrick and Humphrey.

Outside of work, Sally enjoys live music, hill walks, and good food. Her all-time favourite TV series are Sherlock and Peaky Blinders, although these days most of her time is taken up with her two-year-old daughter and her pets.

Sally has been bathing dogs since the age of 15 while working in boarding kennels and is now further developing her grooming skills under Kirsty’s guidance. She is very much looking forward to meeting and caring for your lovely dogs.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all my clients and followers. We hope you are having a lovely festive period. A little late post from me as it’s been absolute chaos since I came off on the 23rd! First Christmas with my, now crawling 11 month old!!! 🫣

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that came back to me after maternity leave. Your support means the world us! I couldn’t do my dream job without you.

There are lots of exciting things happening at The Dog Lassie in 2026! So keep your eyes peeled for some updates very soon!
