First week back dogwalking after the Festive Period 🐾 and although we haven't had it as bad as some areas, the weather definitely hasn't been kind 😔.

FIREWORKS WEEKEND

Please please keep your dogs on the leads especially this weekend when random fireworks will go off left, right and centre, even if your dog has solid recall please be mindful.

If you have a nervous rescue dog, I would advise to also put a lead on and accompany them into the garden for toilet breaks etc

It is one of the busiest time of the year for us lost dog search groups hopefully you don't need us but we are all here if you do.

There are many many more groups all over the country who all volunteer their time in the hopes of helping to reunite your lost pets. If your area is not mentioned above please familiarise yourself with your local lost dog team, in the hope you never need them, but you know who to turn to if you ever do. Lost dog teams are a valuable part of the local communities helping distraught owners and providing not only emptional support, but ground teams, experience, invaluable equipment to aid their searches.

It is also worth noting down your local dog wardens number who for some areas are always the first point of call if a dog is found.

Consider bringing in rabbits and other small animals inside during this period too.

Lastly please make sure your pets microchip details are upto date! Not only is this a legal requirement but this is what makes the difference in reuniting your Missing Pets to you quickly to help avoid any further stress on your animal if they are missing and have been found.

***UPDATE, DOG HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE DUMPED AT SIDE OF ROAD***

This evening at 7:10PM a grey Mitsubishi pick up was stolen from Broadwell Farm, Abernethy, Perthshire. The farm is located on the side of the A913.

When the pick up was stolen, a 8 year old fox red lab was inside. She is microchipped and spayed. Her microchip is being flagged as stolen.

The police are involved.

The pick up was last seen heading on the back road to Dundee via Errol.

All the family want is their dog back home safe.

Please do the right thing and drop her off at a safe location so she can get back home to her family.

If you were in the area at the time can you please check your dash cam footage Incase you have recorded anything.

Please share far and wide!

We can confirm she has been found safe dumped at the side of the road in Errol!

The pick up is still stolen.

Any information on who has done this please immediately inform the police on 101.

I have lost a pink rope dog lead down the grass River path between Jeanfield Park and entrance to Woody Island. No value except sentimental. If anyone finds it, could you please let me know. Many thanks x

Was surprised to see such high temperatures forecast from tomorrow and over the next few days, apparently 29 degrees on Friday 😯 which I am hoping is a system glitch and not actually true 🙈😆 !! Quite strange for this time of year 😎 considering the summer wasn't too bad heatwise. Obviously I will keep a close eye on this due to safety for both the dogs and myself 🫠 and will be in touch in case anything needs to change regarding walks 🐶🐾

We are still searching for darling Rosie 😢

It’s been a week since she has been missing from Bertha Loch in Perth.

No stone has been left unturned in her search but it’s possible she has wandered further from the missing point.

If your out walking your dog this weekend or looking for something to do it would be appreciated if folk to spare some time and look around Bertha Park, Bertha Lock, Alomndbank, Pitcairngreen and the River Almond area for Rosie.

Rosie’s dad and the rest of her family just desperately want Rosie home safe 😢❤️🐾

This lovely girl is still missing from Bertha Loch in the Bertha Park area of Perth.

Teams have been out searching along with thermal imaging scopes and a thermal imaging drone but sadly so far no sign. Leaving scented items has been done too.

The team along with kind local residents will continue ground searching.
