🐴 Yard Staff Position Available at Fairfield Stud 🐴

Fairfield Stud is looking for a reliable and experienced individual to join our team on Saturdays, with additional hours available for poo picking during any time and day of the week.

🕒 Hours:
• Saturdays, 7:30 AM – approx. 10:00 AM (depending on the number of horses on the yard)
• Additional flexible hours available for poo picking on other days

📍 Location: Fairfield Stud

Main Duties:
• Mucking out stables
• Poo picking
• Haying up
• Filling water buckets
• Assisting with scanning mares
• General yard work

✨ Experience with foals and youngstock is essential.

This is Misty, Misty has enjoyed a nice groom this morning 🥰 However, she did NOT appreciate the pigeon who decided to fly at the window she was stood at, resulting in a broken headcollar 🙈

Misty is boarding with us whilst she is being scanned for AI by Thornton Wright Vets who are but a stroll around the stable block.

This makes the whole process super easy for Misty’s owner because…
❌There’s no vet call out fee ❌
😄 There’s no trying to arrange the perfect time to scan your mare as we will do all that 😄
📦 We will arrange delivery of the semen to arrive at the optimum time 📦
🐴 We will keep you updated with what’s happening, and care for your horse as if she were our own and even find new headcollars if we need to! 🙈 ♥️

🐴 How can we help?! 🐴

Due to a few of our youngstock livery leaving us to start their ridden careers, we have a small number of grass livery spaces available which will be allocated on a first come first served basis 😊

All types of horse can be accommodated and this includes 2025 weanlings. We will always group according to their age and size. We understand one size does not fit all, and your horse comes first.

We find that all horses arriving at Fairfield Stud instantly settle into our relaxed environment. We also have the wonderful Thornton Wright Equine vets practice on site which is extremely advantageous! 🙌🏼

If you’re interested to know more, please get in touch and we’d love to have you over for a coffee and a tour (other drinks are available)

❓Did you know that we have onsite vets and have Stud packages available for mares for natural cover or AI? 🐴. Your mare can then either go home and come back to us for foaling or can board with us for her full pregnancy 😊
Friday saw us take Bella for a walk in to see Bobby’s Kitten at which we hope was a success 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Time will tell!
