Thank you James Street Veterinary Centre for inviting us to the summer open day on Saturday 22nd August.

Harriet is a highly experienced canine hydrotherapist with over a decade of expertise in rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and canine massage.

It’s been so lovely to see Rosetta’s progress 🌟

We’ve been working with Rosetta via our Clinical Animal Behaviour service as she was barking at other dogs and people out on walks. She was also having some difficulties with living with the other three dogs in the house.

Rosetta has made some excellent progress to date thanks to her mum’s great commitment - coping much much better with passing dogs and people. If she does get startled her response is markedly reduced, and she is recovering more quickly too! This is thanks to both our behavioural plans, but also working alongside her vet and Millhaven Canine Rehabilitation physio team to identify some discomfort that Rosetta had been in too which was likely exacerbating her anxiety. With physio exercises, and pain relief she is much more comfy and physically able to join in chasing Teddy around more!

There’s continued support for Rosetta needed of course, but she’s made great inroads and we’re so pleased with her progress 👏👏 Well done Team Rosetta.

Boss joined us following a diagnosis of osteoarthritis and weakness in his hindlimbs. He initially started physiotherapy where we targeted his areas of discomfort and helped relieve them. Boss is a big fan of having his massage!

He was also given proprioceptive and stability exercises to do at home between his sessions to help regain his confidence. We then added in hydrotherapy alongside his physiotherapy, and he has done brilliantly in the pool!

When he first came to us he was very unsteady on his paws, he is now able to enjoy his walks and be comfortable when resting at home. We are very proud of his progress!
