It's been an incredibly busy few weeks at C & C with our 5th Birthday Party and lots and lots and lots of lovely visitors!
For anyone thinking they need a guinea pig fix over the summer here is a list of the handling sessions which currently have spaces left up until September:

June: Friday 19th- 11am,
Thursday 25th- 11am & 2pm
July: Thursday 2nd- 11am & 2pm
Thursday 9th- 11am, Friday 10th- 2pm
Thursday 16th- 11am, Friday 17th- 11am
Friday 24th- 11am & 2pm
Thursday 30th- 11am, Friday 31st- 11am
August: Saturday 1st- 2pm, Sunday 2nd- 11am
Thursday 6th- 11am & 2pm, Saturday 8th-11am & 2pm, Sunday 9th- 2pm
Saturday 22nd- 11am, Sunday 23rd- 11am & 2pm

We have just opened our September sessions up too but all other sessions are already sold out so book your places while you can!

Phew! It's scorchio out there! The girls are having a well deserved day off today staying in the cool and eating lots of hay.
While they're chilling, we're catching up with a bit of admin...

We're very pleased and excited to share with you that we'll be exhibiting at the inaugural Piggy Fest taking place at Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park on Saturday 25th July. Please visit 🐹 Piggy Fest 2026 - Guinea Pig Festival for more details. It's guinea be a great day and we're looking forward to meeting lots of people! Yay!

Of course, none of the guinea girls will be attending but the human team will be on hand to answer all your questions, take bookings and chat all things piggie - and cake!!

Well we are nearly there with preparations for our 5th Birthday Party tomorrow and Lily would just like to answer a couple of FAQs...🎈🎊🎉🎂
What time is the party? C & C HQ will be open from 12 midday until 4pm
How much does it cost? Nothing! Its free entry with a drink and birthday cake for everyone! ☕🎂
Do I need to book? No but it would be really handy to drop us a quick message to let us know if you are intending on coming...
Is there any parking? We have lots of free parking and, if you can't get parked outside us, Millers Walk is opposite and free for 2 hours (don't forget to get a ticket out of the machine though! ) 🚗🚘🚐
Will we get cuddles with the guinea pigs? Not this time as its not a handling session and may be quite busy. There will be a lot of guinea pigs to meet though showing off their newly decorated cages! 🍒
What will there be to do? As well as a drink and cake you can visit our newly refurbished rooms, our bookshop, our gift shop and meet lots of other guinea pig fans! 📚🧦
Did someone mention a prize draw?! Yes, we are running a free prize draw with lots of special prizes including gift vouchers and other goodies! 🥇🍾😁

What a beautiful Friday! Can’t believe it’s only TWO DAYS until our birthday party! We still have lots to do but we’ll be ready!

We aren't sure what the girls will think of this- a boy in the girls' domain!
One of our new skinny pig boars paid a visit to C & C HQ today to have a quick look around while we carried on preparing for our open house birthday party this Sunday afternoon.
Dave is a lovely, friendly, neutered lad and may well be seen from time to time in future handling sessions!
