Cavies & Cake Fun packed pre-bookable 90min sessions in our welcoming centre. Licenced to keep or train animals Pre-book your 90 minute session, for £8 per person.

This includes your private room, a cake, drink, activity, feeding, grooming and cuddles with the guinea-pigs in your room. Sessions run 9.30am or 11.30am Fri-Sat
Alternatively, contact us to book an afternoon session at a time of your choice - minimum charge for 8 applies. Children's parties also catered for. The news we didn’t want to bring…

Unfortunately our beautiful, sweet, cheeky, charismatic little Cinnamon didn’t make it through the night and she passed away peacefully surrounded by her friends in the herd.

To say we are devastated is an understatement- in the 5 months since we took over ‘Mon has created so many stories and made so many friends it is unreal.

My personal favourite was a birthday party a couple of months ago when she decided it looked cosy inside someone’s shirt and I ended up having to fish her out from halfway up his back after the screams for help!

We’re really going to miss you ‘Mon. Wherever you are we know you’ll be causing havoc xx

After another really lovely day at C & C HQ (with some fantastic reviews- check them out!) I didn’t expect an emergency visit to the vets this evening.
Of all the girls it had to be Cinnamon, who badly sprained her knee a couple of days ago and, after an earlier visit to the vets, was already on anti-inflammatory meds.
This evening she was very much not herself so an out-of-hours visit was definitely required.
She was struggling with tummy pains which are linked to her not being able to walk properly due to the sprain.
The good news is X-rays have confirmed no breaks so it’s more rest, tummy massages, painkillers and more anti-inflammatory meds for the next few days. The meds have already had an effect in that there are signs of movement in the leg where there was none a couple of days ago.
Guinea pigs are surprisingly delicate little creatures and she is very much not herself although in typical fashion she still polished off a handful of spinach while waiting for her prescription…
Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery for our uniquely cuddly little girl 🤞🏻

Yet another lovely weekend meeting amazing people and something has struck all of us at C & C that hadn’t really sunk in before- just how much effort people will put in to meet the girls!
As the UK’s only guinea pig cafe we regularly have visitors from all over the country but this weekend we’ve had families who organised their holidays in the area based around visits to our girls- how amazing is that?!!!
Since we took over in February we’ve ticked off Hull, Nuneaton, Leicester, Westbury, South London, West London, Sudbury and Bishops Stortford in our visitor book.

Cindy is the fourth of our new girls and is a very, very cuddly little girl with more personality than you can shake a chocolate brownie at.
*no guinea pigs were fed coffee or chocolate brownie during this photoshoot. Apart from being really bad for them Sarah & Ian had already drunk and eaten it all so the girls had to make do with spinach… 😁
