If you're looking to rehome one of our beautiful dogs, it's important to know that Labrador Rescue South East & Central (LRSEC) works a little differently to some of the larger organisations.

📍 Please note: We only rehome dogs within the areas shown on our adoption map. Make sure you're within our coverage area before applying 🗺️

Unlike many rescues, we don’t have a kennel full of homeless dogs. Instead, we do things with the dog’s wellbeing in mind:

🏠 Where possible, dogs stay with their current owners until the right forever home is found – this helps reduce stress and anxiety.

🐕‍🦺 If needed urgently, dogs are placed in LRSEC-approved kennels or trusted foster homes to ensure they stay in a loving environment until rehoming.

Minnie is is training to become a Medical Alert Assistance Dog and is currently working towards her final assessment. Her main focusses are practising walking next to a mobility aid and perfecting her retrieve and she has also been going on various types of public transport in preparation for wherever her client may need to go and however they choose to get there.
