Our Biggies and Minis are heading to the Duchy College Equine and Animal Management Open Day tomorrow.

We love supporting local events and sharing our sport with new audiences. If we can inspire the next generation of riders along the way, even better!

You don't need a specialist horse.
You don't need years of experience.
You don't need to know anyone before you arrive.

What you do need is a willingness to have a go.

One of the things we love most about Formation Riding is the incredible support riders give one another. Everyone remembers being new, and everyone wants to help others succeed.

Whether you ride a young horse, an experienced horse, a cob, a warmblood or anything in between, you'll find a welcoming community ready to help you on your journey.

🏆 ROUND 3 IS NOW OPEN! 🏆

The next round of the 2026 All-Steps Formation Riding Championship is officially open.

Now is the time to download your test sheets, gather your team and start practising. Whether you're aiming for championship points, building confidence or simply looking for a fun goal to work towards with friends, we'd love to see you take part.

♞ Teams of 2–8 riders

♞ All abilities welcome

♞ Riding Club classes available

♞ Any horse, any breed

How it works:

2️⃣ Practise with your team

3️⃣ Film your test

4️⃣ Submit your video before the closing date

At All-Steps, we believe beautiful riding is not about level, status, or perfection. Some of the most rewarding moments happen when a rider who thought they “weren’t good enough” completes a movement smiling from ear to ear while their horse settles and grows in confidence beside them.

Formation riding is not reserved for professionals.

It is for everyday riders who want to learn, grow, and experience something special with their horse.

💙 A coach's first job isn't teaching formations. It's creating confidence.

At our Formation Riding clinics, our coaches are constantly reading both horse and rider.

Is the horse relaxed? Is the rider comfortable? Does someone need a little more support before moving on?

Of course we teach the technical side of Formation Riding, but creating a safe, encouraging environment always comes first.

We know that every horse and rider combination is different. That's why we work at a pace that allows everyone to build confidence, enjoy the experience and leave feeling successful.

Because when horse and rider feel safe, the learning follows naturally.

✨ "I was nervous before I came, but everyone was so welcoming..." ✨

We recently received a lovely testimonial from Lucy Howell after attending her first Formation Riding clinic with her gorgeous young palomino cob.

Trying something new with a young horse can be a big step, and it takes confidence to put yourself out there. We're so pleased that Lucy and her horse came away having enjoyed the experience and feeling part of the team.

Every formation rider remembers their first clinic, and there's nothing better than seeing new partnerships discover just how much fun riding together can be.

Our minis, Nugs and Bilbo, had a very special visitor today – Jack Shoulder from Barefoot and Booted - Hooves, Healing & Harmony.

Jack looks after a number of our team horses who are barefoot, and he's fantastic at what he does.

As you can see, these three got on like a house on fire! There was plenty of nose-to-nose gossip, swapping secrets and no doubt telling tales about their mummies... cheeky little buggers. 🤣

One of the best things about being in business is building relationships with good people who genuinely care about what they do. Over the years we've learned that surrounding ourselves with knowledgeable, trustworthy professionals makes all the difference, and Jack is definitely one of those people.

If you have a barefoot horse (or 50 Munchkins Miniature Shetland Rescue , we'd highly recommend getting in touch with Jack. Your horses will be in very good hands. 🐴❤️
