Dreamer (Grey) & Harry (Chestnut) enjoying a morning out on Hound Exercise with The EDH this morning 🐶

🐎 Dreamer was absolutely superb, her first time being ridden in a large group & her first time seeing hounds. Having watched her grow and mature from a 2YO, she has been an absolute pleasure, she is such a willing young horse that enjoys new experiences!

Another brilliant beach day with Gary, Harry, Delta & Clover 🌊

They had brilliant fun galloping across the beach, swimming in the sea and ofcourse we had to play with the flags in the car park!

A lovely morning at The EDH Hound Exercise with Paddy & Delta 🐶

🍂 Paddy hasn’t hunted since he left us as a 5YO - he was super, as expected, and enjoyed every second of it - He clearly loves being back at the job!

🍂 Delta’s first time being ridden in a large group & her first time seeing hounds - she was absolutely foot perfect, she’s blown us away with her maturity and level headed attitude to everything we’ve asked of her - we’ve no doubt she’s going to be a wonderful horse to have for this season!

A busy day at Courtway Equestrian today - such a fantastic arena for our young horses and it’s always SO beautifully maintained!

☘️ Welcome Home Paddy ☘️

9YO Gelding (2016)

Due to a heartbreaking change in his previous owners circumstances Paddy will soon be looking for a new home. He was imported from Ireland by us as a 4YO and sold as a 5YO in 2021 and has since been out and about having lots of fun! He has competed at BE80, won classes and championships at local shows, competed at regional championships & petplan championships in dressage at Novice level.

Paddy is the true definition of an “allrounder.”

We absolutely adored Paddy and are honoured that his owner has asked him to come home to us to begin his next adventure.

He’s home just in time for the trail hunting season ahead! 🐶 🍂

We waved goodbye to the beautiful Queenie this weekend 👑 👋🏼

Queenie arrived with us 6 weeks ago on breaking livery & on Saturday she had her first hack with her owner before heading home 🏠 ♥️

Lots of hacking for Queenie now, a winter break & then she’ll come back to us in the spring ready for the next stage of her education!

A Happy Horse & A Happy Client! ✅

Something important to take onboard when considering breaking livery… Please don’t rush your horse - please don’t expect a yard to break your horse in 2 weeks to save you on costs & for goodness sake don’t do a bad job and expect someone else to fix it in a week!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

🐎 Dreamer (Grey) is going from strength to strength, she’s taking every experience in her stride and is growing into a wonderful and talented young horse and we’re immensely proud of her!

Harry XC schooling today at Southcott XC - the course was looking absolutely fabulous however the heavens really opened on us today!! 🌧️

Harry’s first outing with us, what a star he was - he certainly wouldn’t be out of place sailing around a BE XC course and he’s classy to match!

From 2YO & 3YO Connemara’s, Irish Sport Horses to Registered Draughts and mixes in between - there really is something for everyone! We love watching these young horses grow and mature and are REALLY excited for their futures! They are clearly REALLY excited with “new field day” too!!

An early start last week to get Annie & Dreamer XC schooling at Southcott XC - up at sunrise to beat the heat! ☀️

Their first time XC schooling and they were both faultless, they travelled together and schooled separately - each one waiting patiently on the lorry for their turn!

They went around the course, jumping plenty of small fences to gain experience and grow in confidence - they both had such a willing attitude and came ready to learn!

It’s VERY clear they have plenty of ability… having owned them since 2YO’s and having done everything with them along the way, it’s SO rewarding to see them out learning their trade and showing us what incredible horses they’re going to become….

Beach day today for Raven, Annie & Dreamer 🌊

🐎 This was 4YO Annie & 4YO Dreamer’s first experience of being ridden away from home and what a day to choose 👀 the military were training meaning we had VERY low flying helicopters 🚁 lots of machinery 🚛 and plenty of people to navigate and my goodness the girls both delivered!! They traveled like a dream, they were so sensible, willing and put SO much trust in us meaning the experience for them (and us!) was enjoyable and not scary. We had to manoeuvre our way through the most overgrown bridlepath, through low trees and high vegetation and they absolutely loved every second of the big wide world 🌍

🐎 Raven was a super star, his job was to nanny (not that his services were required!) he was totally faultless.
