✨ Something I’ve been quietly working on…
I’ve had this idea circling around for a couple of months now, so it feels rather lovely to finally be able to announce it.
After considering a few different locations, we settled on Dawlish Warren — somewhere that is easily accessible by both car and public transport. There is also a concrete walkway, so accessible for people with reduce mobility.
About the day: 🐾
We’re planning to meet at 10am on Saturday 5th December 2026, with the walk lasting until the early afternoon.
Nothing too complicated — just a lovely walk along the beach, followed by a stop at the local shops for a hot drink... and perhaps a slice of birthday cake too. ☕🍰
The timings may change slightly. We are still waiting for the December tide times to be released, and we'd love to make the most of the beach, so the meeting time may need to move depending on high tide. Naturally, if there is a weather warning, we may also need to reconsider the day.
And for those with particularly keen eyes... 👀
You may have noticed that our birthday is actually 1st December. As it falls on a Tuesday this year, we thought we'd celebrate properly by giving you the opportunity to join us at the weekend instead.
