Feline Care Cat Rescue Please visit our website to donate and follow us for regular updates from the FC family, thank you :) Thank you for your support.

Feline Care is home to over 150 at any time, many of which are looking for new homes, some of which will spend the rest of their days living in peaceful sanctuary. When we set up our page in 2011 our parent charity was closing us down unless we could raise the £70,000 needed to buy our premises, in Norfolk, UK. For a small rescue it seemed an impossible task but after 14 hard weeks we mad

e it, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of the general public. Since then we have gone on to help many hundreds of cats find better and safer lives and we look forward to doing so until our feline friends no longer need us. Sadly we know that day will not be in any of our lifetimes, but we can hope! Feline Care was originally founded in 1997 by The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre charity, based in West Sussex. The CRRC operate a strict policy never to put a healthy animal to sleep which leads to a number of cats who take longer to re-home. Feline Care was founded to take on these 'unwanted' moggies and offer a forever-home to those with nowhere else to go. Over the years Feline Care has evolved as many of the nervous cats we take in have slowly learnt to love humans and have since found their own homes. Now we operate a regular rescue and rehoming sanctuary but with a difference because we will always aim to be here for those who need us most. Our attitude to euthanasia: we will only help our friends go for their final sleep when it is absolutely justified for their individual journey. We do not practice 'contextually justified' euthanasia as we believe we owe more than that to the cats in our care, euthanasia should never be for human convenience.

Want to help old man Oscar?

Pop along to our Pop Up Shop between 10 and 1pm this Saturday, here in our car park at Feline Care, NR16 2QN.

This month our popular 'Fill a bag for £5' is back and includes clothes, bric-a-brac, books, dvds and cds. We will also have our mini tombola and yummy cakes available.

Every penny raised this month will go towards looking after new boy Oscar, who is due surgery to try and halt the spread of skin cancer.

His ears are already just an accessory for him as he's deaf, losing his ears won't change much for him.

If you've been to Moulton Nurseries in the last 8 years, you might recognise this chap? He worked there before his retirement from duties brought him to us!

Hope to see you Saturday and hope to bring you an update on Oscar later in the week 🙏

Just informed Philippe of the week's weather report while he's waiting for breakfast.

He's relieved it won't be so hot but disappointed to hear about the rain forescast for Tuesday as he was planning on lounging on the lawn that day.

What a tough life for our feral family 😹

Darling Donna is a heart melter!

She's awaiting surgery for her poorly ear and she's quite arthritic, but what a sweetheart.

However she came to be a stray, it's our absolute pleasure and privilege to love and care for her.

Hopefully she'll be ready to look for her retirement home in a few weeks 😻

Let's take a moment for all the cool cats that rock wearing a doughnut😻

Milly loves spending time outside watching the world go by in some of her favourite places around the sanctuary, she heads out after breakfast and doesn't ask to come back in till around 5pm

Lovely Lyla listening to the sounds in our sanctuary home 💚

We don't encourage visiting birds but they love our grounds as much as our cats do and they sound extra beautiful in the Spring!

In this clip you're listening to five of our regulars....
🐦‍⬛ Garden Warbler
🐦‍⬛ Greenfinch
🐦‍⬛ Goldfinch
🐦‍⬛ Great Tit
🐦‍⬛ Blackcap

Luckily our cats are mostly all very lazy bird hunters 😻

Is it nearly breakfast time yet?
