Could your dog have a sensitive stomach?

Occasional digestive upsets can happen to any dog. However, frequent loose stools, excessive wind, vomiting, changes in appetite or discomfort after eating may indicate that your dog is struggling with their current diet.

A food and symptom diary can help you identify patterns. Keep a record of meals, treats, stool consistency and any changes in your dog’s behaviour.

Try to keep feeding routines consistent, introduce new food gradually and avoid making several dietary changes at the same time.

Persistent digestive symptoms should always be discussed with your vet, particularly if your dog appears unwell, is losing weight or has blood in their stool.
