You could be the change Eddie deserves❤️

Eddie was rescued from the 'doodle' hoarding situation and despite his sheltered past, he still came into us wagging his tail and the tail wags have never stopped. He has been very resilient with his journey with us and have came SUCH a long way! Eddie is so full of love, hope and has such a lovely nature to surround yourself with❤️

❤️He just needs an understanding family who can help him settle into normal life as this may all be new for him ❤️

Lots of our volunteers love the relationship they can build up with some of our long term dogs therefore we have our buddy dog programme🐾

This allows our dogs to create meaningful and consistent relationships with a much needed friend. When it's time for their buddy dog to go to their forever home our volunteers can be proud of the big difference they have made to that dog. We really thank our canine assistant volunteers who have spent hours spending some much needed and valued time with their buddy dogs 🐶

Whatever role our volunteers may do, it impacts our dogs in such a positive way. Even if some of our volunteers role don't include direct contact with our dogs, the impact their actions have reflect greatly on their welfare and their time spent here whilst they're with us waiting to go to their forever homes 🏠

As we celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Week, all of us at Dogs Trust Snetterton want to say a truly heartfelt thank you to every one of our incredible volunteers. Your kindness, dedication and unwavering commitment make such a difference every single day — from cleaning kennels and tackling endless laundry, to making feeds, training, exercising and enriching the lives of the dogs in our care. 🐶🦴🎾

We are equally grateful to our wonderful foster carers, drivers and maintenance volunteers, whose support behind the scenes helps keep everything running smoothly and ensures our dogs receive the very best care possible. No task ever goes unnoticed, and the compassion, time and energy you give so selflessly means more than words can say. Thank you for being such an important part of the Dogs Trust Snetterton family.🚘🪴
