RSPCA Cat Rehoming Hub Rehoming cats rescued by the RSPCA in the North East and North Yorks. Based in Darlington, Co. Durham

**OUR REHOMING PROCESS**

Step 1:

Fill in our Perfect Match adoption form! This can be done via three different ways:

- Email Sophie, our Rehoming Co-ordinator, to request a perfect match form. ( [email protected] )

- You can view and print a copy of the form via this link http://tinyurl.com/3xkup8vd

- Or complete the form online here http://tinyurl.com/4k9pdjvs (this will aut

omatically be sent to us!)

You can express a preference for any cats you have seen on our website or our social media pages. However when you are contacted, you will be advised whether you are a match for a specific cat. Please make sure you live within one hour’s drive of Darlington before applying! (We can advise on how to find a RSPCA centre closer to you if you are too far away to adopt from us!)

Step 2:

Sit back and wait! Waiting time for us to respond to applications is around two weeks, so please be patient! Step 3:

Your details will be added to our database and you will be contacted when a perfect match is found! When we have a perfect match you will receive an email or phone call, asking for further information and to discuss your future feline friend. Step 4:

If we can offer you a cat or kitten for adoption, the rest of the application process will be completed via phone, email and a virtual home check via online chat will be completed. Step 5:

If the adoption process is successful, your cat will be brought to your home by experienced RSPCA staff. There is an adoption fee to pay when you get your new feline friend:

- Kittens under 6 months: £110
- Cats 6 months - 6 years: £100
- Cats 7 years or over: £90

Step 6:

Live happily ever after with your new feline family member! If you have any questions or need advice, don’t worry, you will receive ongoing support from us following adoption!

We have some new followers recently, so wanted to share our rehoming process 🐾😻

Step 1️⃣:

Honey & Heathcliffe 🐾❤️

These two wonderful 16 year olds are two of the most affectionate cats you could ever hope to meet, with so much love still left to give.
Everyone who meets Honey and Heathcliffe falls completely in love with them, and it’s not hard to see why!

Honey is a beautiful little shadow who wants to be wherever her people are. She adores being on her foster family’s lap and will happily spend hours having all the fusses, cuddles and head kisses she can get 🥰

Heathcliffe is a big, gentle giant with the sweetest nature. He loves nothing more than being close to you, enjoying plenty of fuss and affection, and spending time watching the world go by from a windowsill (or even just watching his humans!)🐱❤️

Both Honey and Heathcliffe are champion biscuit makers, and you’ll often find them kneading away happily while purring their hearts out 🥹 They absolutely adore human company and would love a home where they can enjoy all the love and attention they deserve.

Despite being 16 years old, these two still have a playful side! They can’t resist a dangly toy, are complete suckers for catnip, and have fantastic appetites too 😸

One thing is non-negotiable though… they will need a comfy bed (or several!) for their naps💤❤️

Honey and Heathcliffe really are the best. They are loving, gentle, funny, affectionate and guaranteed to bring so much happiness to the lucky family who gives them their forever home ✨

🏡 They will need to be the only pets in the home and would love someone who is home often

Pritti 🐾❤️

Beautiful Pritti is around 5-6 months old and is now ready to find her forever home.

Pritti is a lovely little girl with a gentle, sweet nature. She can be a little reserved when she first meets new people, preferring to take her time and settle in before showing her affectionate side. Once she feels safe and comfortable though, she enjoys snuggling up for a fuss and loves curling up for a cosy nap after a good meal.

Despite her quieter personality, Pritti is confident around other cats and isn’t intimidated by those much bigger than her. She happily relaxes alongside them on the sofa and would do well in a home with other friendly feline companions.

He’s a wonderfully fussy and friendly boy who is confident around people and is happy being around other felines.

We are unsure of his age but know that he is an adult boy who is ready to be someone’s kitten! 😼
