☀️🐶 Hot Weather Warning for Dogs 🐶☀️

With temperatures rising, please remember that heat can be extremely dangerous for our dogs.

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke include:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Bright red gums
• Vomiting or diarrhoea
• Collapse or seizures

🐾 Keep your dog safe by:

✅ Providing plenty of fresh water
✅ Walking early in the morning or late in the evening
✅ Keeping them in the shade
✅ Using cooling mats, paddling pools or frozen treats
✅ Never leaving them in a car – even for a few minutes

🔥 Remember: If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.

Some dogs are at higher risk, including puppies, older dogs, overweight dogs, and flat-faced breeds such as Bulldogs, Pugs and French Bulldogs.

Stay safe and keep those tails wagging! ❤️🐾
