Meet Begbie the Bulldog 🐾❤️

We’re currently pet sitting this stubborn but lovable boy for the week while his owners enjoy a well deserved holiday ☀️ With the hot weather here, it’s all about making sure Begbie stays cool, comfortable, and happy.

Begbie absolutely loves a bit of ham, a Babybel, and of course plenty of scratches and attention 🥰 He’s also a massive fan of taking up most of the bed at night and treating us to his very loud snoring 😂

He’s such a character and we’re absolutely loving having him stay with us this week ❤️

Obie is back and looking absolutely handsome 🐾❤️

Obie is such a happy little boy, although he can definitely be a bit stubborn at times 😂 Because of that, his grooming sessions are done in a slightly different order that works best for him and keeps him comfortable and relaxed throughout.

We can honestly say he is such a lovely little pooch and incredibly photogenic too — he absolutely loves his little photo shoots after his groom 📸 He’s always smiling and loves greeting us when he arrives, although a bum scratch and belly rub are definitely expected before we can continue 😂

Obie also gets very excited when the treats come out, but he can’t have too many at the moment as he’s on a little diet 🤭 We absolutely love grooming Obie, he’s always such a pleasure to have in.

Meet Daisy 🐾❤️

Daisy came in for her very first groom with us and what can we say… she did absolutely amazing! She may have been a little unsure at first, but we soon became the best of friends and she gave us plenty of kisses afterwards to say thank you for her pamper session 🥰

Daisy hasn’t had the easiest start in life, but she is so incredibly loved by the family she’s with now, and it was such a pleasure to make her feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during her visit with us.

Betty is so hyperactive she just can’t keep still! She’s not the biggest fan of being groomed, but she definitely makes up for it with all the kisses and attention she gives ❤️

We’re so excited to be pet sitting this lovely bunch for the week—meet Otto, Lola, Rodney, Daisy, Bonnie, and Chester 🐾

They’ve been loving all the attention and cosy snoozes while the weather’s been a bit rubbish, but that won’t stop the fun we’re going to have! There will be plenty of cuddles, lots of naps, and definitely lots of playtime. We’re all hoping the weather picks up again soon so we can enjoy even more adventures together.

We’re so glad to welcome these gorgeous cuties into the Watson’s Wags family ❤️

Meet Kylo, Lilly, Meredith, Benji, Oreo, and Oscar 🐾

We’re pet sitting this lovely lot this weekend, and you can definitely tell which ones are the outgoing characters and which ones are a little more shy! We’re so excited for plenty of cuddles, fuss, and even our little walks with the pooches 🐶

It’s a pleasure looking after these cuties for the first time, and we’re so excited to welcome you to the Watson’s Wags family 🙈🐾

This is a really hard post for me to write, and it hasn’t been an easy decision at all. After a lot of thinking and with the rising cost of everything, I’ve had to make the decision to step back from covering out-of-town areas.

Going forward, I will only be covering Darlington and Newton Aycliffe.

I want to reassure everyone that all pet sitting bookings already in place for this year will still go ahead, so please don’t worry. All grooming appointments booked for this month will also go ahead as planned. However, any grooming appointments in Middlesbrough and surrounding areas from 1st April onwards will unfortunately be cancelled. I hope this gives you enough time to find another groomer for your pooch.

I’m honestly so grateful for every single one of my clients and customers, past and present. You’ve supported me for the last 3 years and helped me build something I’m so proud of. This decision really hasn’t been easy, but it’s what’s best moving forward.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support — it truly means the world to me. I look forward to still seeing all your lovely pets at their upcoming appointments.

💔 Today we’ve received some very sad news.💔

Sheila the Rottweiler has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Sheila passed away just before Christmas, on the 23rd. The angels knew it was her time to go.

Sheila was absolutely amazing, and we are so grateful that we got to be a part of her life, even if it was only for a short time. She started coming to us in June last year for her nail clips and was always an absolute pleasure. She knew exactly when her appointment day was and would be waiting at the door as soon as she heard the knock.

Her favourite things were giving plenty of kisses and cuddles, and she never said no to a belly rub – especially one in between each paw. Sheila had the most beautiful soul, she was a truly gorgeous girl, and she will be forever missed.

We were so lucky to have Sheila as part of the Watson’s Wags family. Our thoughts are with Sheila’s family during this incredibly difficult time. She truly was one of a kind.

We love you, Sheila. Thank you for all the happy smiles, kisses, and memories. We hope you’re getting all the belly rubs up there 🌈🐾💖

We are looking after these two lovely, cute ladies over the next few days and we’re so excited 🐾🩷

Tilly is a little nervous, but with time she loves to give plenty of cuddles. Her favourite thing is snuggling in bed and snoozing 🛏️💤

Maisy, on the other hand, also loves to snooze and enjoys plenty of belly rubs. She even barks as soon as you stop stroking her 😂🐶

They’re both so cute, and we’ve enjoyed every minute looking after these two so far 🩷
