Today we had the most beautiful Luna puppy in for her first groom. She is a 22 week old springer x German pointer. She was amazing , happy to be touched, held bathed clipped the full works . Well done Luna

Hello everyone. We have decided to make an announcement. In order to answer some questions.

I thought most of my regular customers knew that I was pregnant 🤰 😅 however I am still getting people who are surprised by this.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow. We will be going on Maternity leave after March 22nd. (Baby is due March 28th)

We intend to take around 8-9 weeks off (we hope people understand that this is a very short time most lady's take up to a year or more off)

Phil can not continue the business without me. He is not trained in grooming itself only in bathing and drying dogs. As well as the fact it's his baby too. He does have some understanding of grooming but has only ever had a go on our own personal pet dogs. This is not enough practice training or experience for him to be thrown head first into the business that I've worked 13 years in. He's only been my assistant since last October.

We do intend however to do touching in days while we are off for our regular customers and are asking those who feel they can't wait for our full return to contact us mid April either by call or text so we can possibly organise this.

We can also offer recommendations for lovely groomers that we've known for years. It would for most people work out as 1 groom during the time we are away.

I'm fitting in as many as I can before I go and they will most likely be due again upon our return.

It's important to state that I can't take on any new dogs during this time as it's not fair to the dogs or to my regulars

Hello everyone we would just like to take this opportunity to make an official announcement. After a successful trial run we are proud to say that Pretty Paws Dog Grooming is officially a Family run business. My Husband Phil (who some of you have seen on Saturdays helping me) is now working with me permanently as my bather, dryer and assistant. This means we are now able to offer more appointments and work more hours. We are both very proud to be working together as a family.
