Subject: Important update regarding this week's appointments and rising temperatures
Dear Customer,
As we are expecting a significant rise in temperature for the remainder of the week, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of both staff and your dogs. Because our salon receives direct sunlight from midday, the combination of external heat and our drying equipment will make the environment uncomfortably warm. While we do have an air conditioning unit, we want to proactively manage the conditions.
To keep the dogs as comfortable as possible, we are adjusting our schedule for the rest of the week:
Schedule Adjustments: We will be starting appointments much earlier, from 6:30 AM, and rearranging some later afternoon bookings. If your appointment is affected by this change, I will be in touch with you individually.
Salon Precautions: Dogs will be bathed in tepid water, and our dryers will be kept on a much cooler setting. Please note that we will not be using the cabinet dryer. For dogs that are sensitive to dryers around their faces, this means they may still be slightly damp around the head at pickup.
Comfort & Care: Fresh, cool water will be constantly available, and we will build regular rest breaks into their grooming sessions if needed.
How you can help us:
Exercise: Please do not walk your dog before their appointment, apart from a quick, essential toilet break.
Punctuality: We kindly ask that you arrive precisely on time for your appointment so we can keep to this strict, heat-optimized schedule.
The well-being of your pets is our absolute priority. If your dog is booked in this week and you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.
Kind regards,
Danielle
