We’ve just taken a huge cutting from our large display of Water Sprite (Ceratopteris siliquosa) — and we’re sharing the love!
Pop in this weekend and grab a piece for your aquarium before it’s all gone.

This glorious, easy-growing fern is known for its luscious fine green leaves and its ability to thrive with minimal fuss. It naturally produces baby plants along its leaves, which can be planted or even used as beautiful floating greenery on the surface of your tank.

💡 Fun fact: Water Sprite not only adds a lush, natural feel to your aquarium, but it also helps improve water quality by absorbing excess nutrients — making life better for your fish and shrimp!

It’s the one… the only… the ZEBRA SHOVELNOSE CATFISH!
(Brachyplatystoma tigrinum, if you're feeling fancy 🧐)

🌟 This rare and stunning predator is a true Amazon showstopper, and not something you see in stores every day! With its sleek striped body and elongated “shovel” snout, the Zebra Shovelnose is a highly sought-after species among serious catfish enthusiasts.

It's native to the fast-flowing rivers of the Amazon Basin.

It can grow quite large, making it a perfect addition to a large display tank.

Despite its fierce looks, it’s a peaceful species with other similarly sized tankmates.

This time of year, fancy goldfish will enjoy a summer break in a well-filtered outdoor pool that offers protection from predators. With natural sunlight, live insects to eat and a decent water volume, they’ll grow and develop rapidly. The flip side to this is that they’ll then need a large aquarium when they come back indoors in autumn, but fish such as these Calico ryukin just get better with age. This batch of youngsters were seen at Reefkeeper Moss End, a store that specializes in marines but offers a lot more besides.

Leopard Frog Plec L134
Peckoltia Compta

These fish will thrive best in a well-maintained, warm aquarium that duplicates their natural habitat. Provide high oxygen levels, meaty foods and plenty of hiding places.

Temperature: 25-30°
Maximum Size: 11cm
Water Parameters: Soft & acidic to neutral. pH: 6.0-7.2, KH: up to 12 degrees
Feeding: Algae wafers, catfish pellets, granules, flake and frozen foods
Distribution: Rio Tapajos, Brazil

The Leopard Frog Peckoltia is a beautiful small species of suckermouth catfish found in clear water rivers in rocky habitats that provide plenty of cover.

This fish is very suitable for mature soft water aquaria that are warm and well-oxygenated. Juveniles have a more intense yellow background colour with regular banding, whereas in adult specimens, the yellow tends to fade and the number of dark stripes can increase and/or break up into spots.

Leopard Frog Peckoltias will feel most at home under subdued lighting. Plenty of decor consisting primarily of bogwood, with rocks/cobbles and robust planting will all help to create much-appreciated shady refuges. The water should be well-filtered and a decent current provided in order to simulate the highly-oxygenated waters the Leopard Frog Peckoltias originate from.

This bottom-dwelling species is generally peaceful, although can be a little territorial with its own kind and similar species. More than one specimen may be kept in the same tank if it is spacious and multiple hiding places/visual barriers are provided. Tankmates tend to be largely ignored and this fish is compatible with a wide range of species, from tetras to eartheaters
