Tomorrow is our last day of trading in Cardiff, so we hope to see you before we close. Whether you need dog food, cat food, treats, toys, hygiene products, leads, harnesses or a variety of other accessories. We're open 9am until 5pm.

And don't forget that we have shops in Carmarthen, Kidwelly, Llandeilo and Narberth so if you're ever in west Wales, please pop in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Dear customers, it’s with great regret that we have to announce the closure of our lovely pet shop on Thursday 20th March.

Despite a lot of time, effort and investment to promote our business, things haven’t progressed as we’d have hoped. We simply can’t continue to operate with the significant losses we’ve experienced and we’ve had to make the difficult decision to shut. In the current retail climate - with online shopping, out-of-town retail parks and increasing costs – independent bricks & mortar businesses continue to be affected and will struggle to survive.

Our shop celebrated its 1st birthday on St David's Day, and we’re very sad that we’ll be leaving this wonderful community after just one year of trading. We’ll miss our regulars (especially your four-legged friends!), but we’d like to thank everyone who supported us.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and product offerings and we’ll continue to operate shops in the following areas; Carmarthen, Kidwelly, Narberth and Llandeilo. Please pop in if you’re ever in the area.

We'll be open until 5pm on Thursday and we hope to see you between now and then.

If you haven't visited our lovely shop before, we can be found on Brandreth Road, which is a very short walk from beautiful Roath Park (just off Lake Road East) 🌳🐕‍🦺. We recently celebrated our 1st birthday and love being a part of the community here. And we're thrilled to have been awarded 'Pet Product & Service' at the recent Business Growth Awards 🏆

There's free parking available outside of the shop, which is ideal for heavier items. And we're located right next door to the lovely ladies at Mucky Pups Grooming School and Salon 🐶✂️

We're a proud stockist of Life of Riley - Pet Bakery & Boutique's products and we've just taken delivery of a new selection of delicious treats. These include; Pizza slices 🍕, Waffles 🧇, and
Doggy Dodgers 🩷. You'll also find a selection of bone biscuits, cupcakes, coconut macaroons and a whole bunch of lovely stuff 😍

Life of Riley specialise in making tasty, nutritious treats for your pups 🍪. They're all grain free, hypoallergenic and don't they look amazing!! 👀

Burns Retail & Hospitality are thrilled to have been recognised in Friday night's Business Growth Wales awards, winning the category of 'Pet Products & Services' for the whole of Wales!🏆. The awards were held at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff.

A reflection of the team's hard work across all of our shops, we'd like to say a BIG WELL DONE to everyone for their hard work and dedication in offering the best service and best products possible to our customers.

Shopping local and supporting local is so important - now more than ever - and our customer's support is hugely appreciated. Thank you to you all. Diolch yn fawr iawn ❤️.

To celebrate the 1st birthday of our shop we've hidden 10 envelopes in Roath Park, each with a prize inside, and now it's up to you to find them 🥳🧐. But be quick before somebody else does! 🏃🏃‍♀️

You'll find the clues needed in this video (in no particular order) 🔎 Only one envelope per customer please (to make it fair!).

Please respect the park and place any rubbish in the park bins, or bring the envelope packaging to our shop and we'll dispose of it for you. Diolch yn fawr. Many thanks.

Our shop’s 1st birthday is coming up (🥳) and to celebrate we'll be hiding 10 envelopes* around Roath Park, each with a prize inside, to be collected from our pet shop 🎁🎈
