Scent Detectives Club 🐾

Some really good work from all the teams.

We focused on building clear indication and tidy searches… teaching the dogs not to skip objects, corners or rush through the search area 😅

Lovely to see the dogs slowing down, concentrating and really working the area properly.

Reactive Dog Masterclass

Living with a reactive dog can feel exhausting sometimes. Planning walks around quiet times, constantly scanning the environment and feeling like nobody else really understands.

This class is designed to give both dogs and humans the space and support they need to learn.

Only 4 dogs per class, plenty of space between teams, 2 trainers available and time for individual coaching throughout the session.

Starting Monday 8th June.

You are not alone, and your dog is not “bad” ❤️

Recall Workshop 🐾

8 teams, real life training in the park and lots of fun along the way.

We worked on building teamwork, creating a real desire to stay connected with the human around distractions and learning how to channel each dog’s individual and breed specific motivations into the team.

We also worked on proofing recall around distractions and emergency recalls in case the human has a fall.

Some brilliant work from both dogs and humans this weekend ❤️

Scent Detectives Club 🐾

Daisy and Riley working on precision, motivation and building confidence in their searches.

A big part of scentwork is learning to read your dog’s body language and knowing when to support them and when to let them work things out themselves. Really lovely work from both teams ❤️

Lifeskills Barkchelors – Recall Module 🐾

Because reliable recall isn’t built by repeating “come back” 199 times across a field… it’s built through connection, value and practice in the real world.

Introduction to Scentwork 🐾

We start dogs on Kong as a starter odour because it’s something many dogs already know and enjoy. it can be used as a buggy you and it’s also easy to handle, leaves less residual scent and helps teams build confidence early on in the search.

What starts as a fun game quickly becomes some very serious sniffing work 😅
