When the crate is the most useful..

Having a visitor, down time, when you need a high drive dog especially to switch off, or even when you just need time for yourself.

We forget that times we, us hoomans, need time to decompress, to have what I call "My Time".

Should be as easy as this.. surely.

It may not be a friendly welcome... 😑
. if youre dog comes up into our space unsolicited, uninvited when dogs are in obedience.

This does NoT mean that dogs are rude.. what it means is..

Dogs in obedience are focusing on following commands and maintaining self-control, so an unexpected off-leash approach can be distracting and potentially escalate into a negative situation.

Additionally, some dogs may not be comfortable with unfamiliar dogs approaching them in this manner, leading to potential conflict.

Especially when they are in a training setting.

Alright, so let's break it down, shall we? This photo right here, it's not just about balance, it's about finding that sweet spot in life where you feel like you got it all figured out.

And then there's that other person, cool as a cucumber, standing next to a Malinois like it's no big deal. Like, "Oh, you think he's a lot of dog? Nah, I got this under control."

It's like finding inner peace in the midst of chaos.

Plus, who doesn't love a good ol' Mr. Bean cameo, am I right? Balance, confidence, and serenity all in one epic shot. That's what it's all about, folks. Just living that well-rounded life like a boss

Crates... Its not as bad as you think 🥰🎓

Got a busy household, kids, multi dog household.
Its the best way to allow your dog to switch off.

This is something that a lot of dog owners will refrain from using.

I have had a number of students who have said that they started using crates but stopped using them because their dog would be upset, or throw a hissy fit. Trust the process.

Decompression is vital, even for dogs who struggle to switch off from the hustle of life, find them stressed with regular triggers, anxiety, reactivity.
