🌴✈️ Barbados? Not quite…

At first glance you’d be forgiven for thinking Phil Bower of Crown Canine was working remotely from his Caribbean office — but no, this was his own garden here in the UK during his recent NASDU Trainer Renewal Inspection carried out by Simon Mallin (NASDU Inspectorate).

On this occasion the inspection was completed at Phil’s home office, as his training facilities had been inspected previously.

Phil’s renewal covered multiple disciplines:

Passive & Proactive Drug Detection

Pyrotechnics

To***co

Bed Bugs

☀️ While the sunshine and surroundings were impressive, what stood out most was the quality and thoroughness of Phil’s training records. Every detail was recorded — from lesson plans and assessment forms to monthly CT, quarterly, and annual assessment paperwork.

NASDU paperwork may not be the most glamorous aspect of training, but it is a vital one. It ensures that learners and instructors remain aligned throughout the training programme, leaving no room for misunderstanding and providing a clear legal compliance record.
