Bardwell Manor Equestrian Centre Riding School and Livery Yard We teach children from 5 years and up and adults of all ages. We have 20 horses and ponies in the riding school.

We cater for complete beginners upto competition riders and career students. Indoor School & Outdoor menage. Hacking for competent riders. We offer working and schooling livery.

Working towards a level 2 work based diploma in horsecare and riding. This is offered in conjunction with Haddon Training. We have a very high success rate .
Working 3 or 4 days each week. Weekend work is involved.
Ideal for a young person with previous experience on a yard that wishes to get their qualification whilst earning.

Two of our liveries went out showjumping at Topthorn on Friday.

Graham & Chester jumped clear and came 4th. It was Bea & Anna’s first attempt at a showjumping competition together. Anna was rather spooky but it was great experience & practice.

Constance & Fiona have returned from Pony Club Camp. It’s Fiona’s first time away from home. She coped really well with living in the temporary stabling and the exciting environment of camp.

The Suffolk Pony Club had put on an amazing camp . The children had a chance to try so many activities- from scurry driving to falconry as well as all the riding. Well done to the huge team of volunteers.

The parents had a chance to go and watch this morning. I was really pleased to see Fiona looking more confident cross country & show jumping. They had done very little jumping due to the hard ground, but still a definite improvement.

We had a very successful’Pony for a Morning’. Everyone brought a pony in, brushed off, tacked up & then had a productive riding session.

Then everyone achieved their ‘ABRS washing tails rosette’. I photographed everyone with their newly washed and brushed tail. It was a good activity for a hot day.

Finley has passed his Level 2 Work Based Diploma. I’ve published the comments on the riding. It’s VERY rare to see riding comments this good. The lady that assessed him is known for being a strict one & she thought Finley has a very promising career ahead of him.
Finley is staying with us for the time being before he goes onwards & upwards.Well done Finley.

Beth also got the news today that she’s passed her BHS Stage4 care.

It’s Ashlyn’s ( at the front)last riding lesson with us today. She’s moving back to the USA. 🇺🇸
Ashlyn had been riding regularly with us for a few years. She’s a lovely quiet rider & has always paid great attention during her lessons.
We’re sad to see her go.
I hope she can find somewhere to ride in Texas. It might be a bit different to here.!

I hope everyone enjoyed their lessons with Beth. It can be such a help to have a new set of ‘eyes’ on you.

Constance won the talent show ( dancing)while we were on holiday ! We won a free weekend to go back for the final.
I can put the video up - let me know if you’d like to see it. It’s absolutely nothing to do with horses:)
