π HARVEST STAFF WANTED! πΎ
SCG is a foraging and baling based contracting firm near Diss, Suffolk. We are looking for skilled operators to join our team for the upcoming harvest. If youβre keen on kit and have a good sense of humour, we want to hear from you. Start dates from approx mid April through to end of October.
π Positions Available:
1. *3 x Bale Baron Drivers*
β’ Pulled by Ultimate Edition John Deere 155rβs.
2. *1 x Big Baler Driver*
β’ Piloting a Krone Big Pack or a New Holland 1290 HD.
3. *1 x JCB 435S Operator/Heath Chaser Driver*
β’ Experience in building clamps in a shovel is essential β whole crop, grass, maizeβ¦ you name it, youβll clamp it.
β’ When youβre not in the JCB, youβll be driving the Heath Chaser. So, if you like variety, this is for you.
We also run a 9800 John Deere Forage Harvester, so during grass and maize season jobs will switch onto hauling trailers.

β’ Kit maintenance is part of the job, so we require a good eye for keeping things running smoothly.

β’ A CV that shows you know your stuff.
β’ A reference to back you up (because weβve all met someone who talks the talk).
β’ A good attitude and a great sense of humour β we donβt do miserable here.
β’ The ability to keep up with the pace of harvest without losing your cool as well as good time keeping.
