So yesterday this happened 😞 Kiera, my Doberman is in season, Herbie just wouldn't leave her alone (which is obviously going to happen) I've kept them mostly seperate at home & they've been fine out on walks... until they weren't! Kiera stopped to have a wee, Herbie jumped on to try hump her & she seriously told him off. She didn't bite him, or hurt him in any other way (could easily kill him, if she wanted to) I think it was either a claw or tooth caught his eye. Rushed to vets & he had emergency surgery. They tried to save his eye but I knew it was inevitable it was going to be removed. I had tried to push it back in but obviously didn't want to do any more damage. Herbie is fine, although understandably quiet. I know accidents happen but I feel so incredibly guilty. It's crazy what hormones can do!
