Our gorgeous April passed away yesterday, we are so sad but after 13 years her body was failing her. She had so many friends, who loved her deeply. She leaves behind a completely heartbroken Orla, who has never been on her own before, please bare with me this week 💔

A heads up to all my lovely clients… 2026 might look a little different for rabbit and guinea pig boarding 💖

- All 2026 bookings will require a deposit, this is something quite common in this sector and I get asked quite a lot if I require one. I haven’t up until this point as I’ve always tried my best to be as flexible as I can because life is complicated for everyone but this year I’ve seen an unprecedented amount of cancellations and I have made the difficult decision to take a 20% non refundable deposit on all bookings. This is to be paid upon booking to confirm your stay, the remaining balance is to be paid at time of collection.

- Time off: I’ve always made sure to make myself wholly available during the summer months/school holidays because this is my busiest period and it’s hard enough saying no when I’m fully booked, let alone to tell you I can’t board or visit because I’m away myself ah 🙈🙈 but in 2026 I will be taking some time off during the school holidays to spend with my family so my summer availability is going to be limited. Please please enquire your dates before booking a holiday to avoid disappointment 🤞.

- Leading on to pick ups/drop offs, I’ve never had opening times as again I aim to be as flexible as possible but again this is having an impact on family life/being able to make plans therefore I will be closed for pick ups/drop offs on Sundays in 2026 (unless you’ve already booked).

I really hope this seems fair, I love my job so much and it’s an absolute joy to be with your animals everyday. Thank you for choosing me 💖
