🎉EDNA UPDATE🎉

" We just wanted to send a little update on how Edna is "We just wanted to send a little update on how Edna is getting on.

She is doing absolutely amazingly and has settled into our family far better than we could ever have imagined. Honestly, it feels as though she has always been here. From day one she has fit straight into our home and our routines, and we genuinely can’t remember what life was like without her.

She is the sweetest, most loving girl and everyone is completely obsessed with her – especially the children! They adore her, and the feeling is definitely mutual. She follows us around, loves being involved in everything we do, and has brought so much happiness and laughter into our home.

Her favourite days are definitely beach days. Watching her bounce through the sea and race around on the sand is just pure joy. She absolutely loves the water and seeing her confidence grow every day has been wonderful.

She has such a lovely nature and has become such an important part of our family in such a short space of time. We feel incredibly lucky to have her and are so grateful that she found her way to us.

Thank you again for trusting us with such a special girl."

Bella is a bright, intelligent dog with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Beneath her energetic nature is a sensitive soul who is searching for a special person willing to understand her, support her, and help her navigate the world with confidence.

As a German Shepherd cross, possibly with Husky or Malinois, Bella has all the traits you'd expect from these remarkable working breeds. She's incredibly smart, eager to learn, and always aware of what's happening around her. She thrives when given structure, guidance, and positive outlets for her energy, and she's already showing just how much potential she has with the right support.

Your kindness, dedication, and hard work make a difference every single day. Whether you're walking dogs, socialising cats, helping with cleaning, fundraising, transport, administration, events, or simply offering your time and compassion, you are an invaluable part of our rescue family.

Because of you, animals in our care receive the love, attention, and support they need while they wait for their forever homes. Your commitment helps give countless dogs and cats a second chance at the happy lives they deserve.

Ozzie is still looking for his forever home 🥺

Ozzie is a handsome French Bulldog with a heart full of love and a personality that's impossible not to adore. Although life hasn't always been kind to him, he's remained a resilient, affectionate boy who is now ready to leave the past behind and start his next chapter with a family of his own.

This special lad absolutely loves being around people and thrives on companionship. Whether he's enjoying a cosy cuddle on the sofa, pottering around on a walk, or simply following his favourite humans from room to room, Ozzie is happiest when he's part of the action. His playful nature and cheeky character are guaranteed to bring plenty of smiles to those lucky enough to know him.

Ozzie walks beautifully on lead and enjoys exploring the world at a relaxed pace. While he has so many wonderful qualities, he will benefit from ongoing training and guidance to help him continue growing in confidence and settling into home life. Because of this, he's looking for adopters with previous dog ownership experience who can provide the patience, consistency, and support he needs to thrive.

🎉BUTTON UPDATE🎉

"To the Danaher Team,

It has been just over 1 year since we adopted the senior Buttons and so I thought I would give an update.

Right from the minute we got home we knew she'd be trouble. She was on the kitchen countertops within the first 10 minutes. She is our senior chaos demon and has well earned her nickname "The Butt" but we wouldn't change her for the world.

She settled in really well and quite quickly but was chomping at the bit to get outside, so we built her a catio and then of course she was mad when we were doing things outside without her. She did a little exploring when she was finally free but now prefers to snooze by the french doors.

I'm still not convinced she's actually 15, she plays like a kitten, with no understanding of how her legs or feet work!
She likes to eat cobwebs, and will clean them off the walls for us.. only to throw them up later.

She demands snuggle time and we get cozy in bed before sleep. She licks my face and grooms my hair and chews on us for a variety of reasons. At least she learnt to put claws away. She is getting more and more comfortable with us and we almost saw her belly during a nap!
She purrs at the slightest bit of attention and her tail goes fluffy when she's happy.
We celebrated her birthday on New Year's and she had some fresh tuna. We also celebrated on her gotcha-versary, so she gets spoilt rotten.

I've attached some of my favourite pictures of her, but it's so hard to choose!

Thank you to all the Danaher Team for looking after her until we came along 🖤 here's to another 14 years of chaos! "

Amos is a sweet and sensitive little soul who can find the world a little daunting at times. New environments, unfamiliar situations, and sudden noises can make him feel unsure, so he is looking for a calm and loving home where he can finally feel safe and secure.

This handsome boy has a slight head tilt as a result of being born with neurological issues. While it gives him a unique charm, it doesn't stop him from enjoying life and doesn't impact his day-to-day wellbeing. It can, however, make him a little more cautious when navigating the world around him, so he appreciates gentle reassurance and a predictable environment.

Beneath his worried exterior is a lovely cat who simply needs time, patience, and kindness to help him build confidence. Amos is looking for adopters who will allow him to settle in at his own pace, celebrate his small victories, and help him discover that life doesn't have to be so scary.

Ben is a wonderful senior gentleman who deserves to spend his golden years exactly as they should be spent: surrounded by love, comfort, and all the cosy spots a cat could dream of.

This sweet older boy is searching for a calm and caring home where he can truly relax and enjoy life at his own pace. Whether he's curled up in a sunny windowsill, snoozing in a warm bed, or enjoying quiet companionship with his favourite people, Ben is ready to embrace the comforts of home life.
