We would just like to politely remind you all of our Terms and Conditions which are sent to you and accepted once the booking fee is made to secure your booking with Kitty Comforts. Sadly, we have had some short notice cancellations this summer - Short notice cancellations are almost always impossible to fill and ultimately leaves chalets unoccupied, this not only means a loss of income to the business but also unfair on clients that have been turned away because we didn’t
have the capacity for them.
Please note the Terms & Conditions you accept when booking:
When a booking is made it is secured by a non-refundable /non-transferable booking fee,however if your booking fee is not received within 48 hours of your booking it is automatically cancelled.
If your booking is cancelled with at least 14 days’ notice no further payment will be due.
If your booking is cancelled within 7 to 13 days’ notice then you will be liable to pay 50% of the booking cost which will be invoiced accordingly.
If the booking is cancelled with less than 7 days’ notice than you will be liable to pay the full amount which will be invoiced accordingly.
Not only does the revenue from the bookings pay the ever-increasing overheads but it has also enabled us to make improvements to the cattery and make it a more comfortable environment for our borders while they are with us.
Unfortunately, we are considering a different approach to non-payers that are breaching our terms and conditions which may include claiming costs through a small claims court.
We hope that it will not be necessary to use this method and that you will appreciate that our Terms & Conditions are there in everybody’s interest.
