🐾 HELP US BREAK THE CYCLE 🐾

Sometimes an unexpected litter happens and people turn to rescue for help. We're glad they do — because these little ones deserve the very best start. ❤️

Taking kittens into rescue means much more than finding them loving homes. We vaccinate, microchip and care for them, and when they're old enough we cover their spaying and neutering, helping prevent more unplanned litters.

Our adoption fees do help towards these costs, but we'd love to finally get ahead of our vet bills, rather than constantly relying on adoption fees to catch up with the last one.

Our September bill is £2,303.31 and thanks to your amazing support we've raised £350 already! from the last post ❤️

🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN — £2,303.31 VET BILL 🚨

We have only just managed to get August’s bill paid, and now we are straight back to trying to find the money for September.

This bill includes treatment for so many of our cats — vaccinations, neutering, blood tests, medication, consultations and treatment for poorly cats.

One of our biggest costs this month was Henry, whose treatment alone came to over £400. Henry had an abdominal cryptorchid castration (a retained testicle), the vet sent removed tissue away for histopathology to check exactly what it was and look for abnormal or potentially cancerous changes. We are pleased that he had the all clear ,and waiting for his new home

Meet our newest kittens: Ripple, Mars and Starburst!

These gorgeous babies are aged from 8 weeks old, and are ready for adoption - they’ve been vaccinated and will need to be neutered at around 5/6 months old (covered by Tenderpaws as part of your adoption package).

Ripple, Mars and Starburst are all super friendly, inquisitive and absolutely love a cuddle 😻

Please note, kittens need to be rehomed ideally with a resident cat, or two together.

Beautiful tortie Jaffa is nearly a year old and is ready for adoption.

She’s a lovely friendly girl and enjoys strokes and affection when she has got to know you a little. She’s spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, and ready for her new home.

This year’s party will be on 5th December from 7.30pm - midnight at Raikes Hall, Blackpool, with a buffet, music and entertainment, as well as a raffle, tombola and prizes to be won!

🐾❤️ MEET JAFFA — THIS IS WHERE YOUR DONATIONS GO ❤️🐾
Gorgeous Jaffa nearly a year old now has just had her vaccinations, been spayed and microchipped and now ready for rehoming. 🐱
Nothing dramatic. No emergency operation or terrible injury.
Just the everyday veterinary care that every cat coming through Tenderpaws needs — and those costs quickly add up when you're caring for so many.
Thanks to your amazing support we finally managed to clear our £3,447.70 August vet bill.
But September's bill is now on its way, and cats like Jaffa are the reason the veterinary costs keep coming.
This time we're determined to try to get ahead before the bill lands, rather than desperately trying to catch up afterwards.
❤️ Our first target is £500.
If 100 people could spare just £5, we'd have £500 ready towards September's veterinary costs.
Every £5 really does make a difference.
