I am a hard working, reliable and committed member of the team when required and also well capable of working on my own. As well as being able to offer general yard duties, riding, schooling and exercising if required. I can als

o offer general maintenance and painting, have had 3 years working with a painter and decorator in the past. I am in the process of breaking a young highland pony, so breaking and backing are also skills I have and can assist with most behavioural issues as well.

We’re in full-on recruiting mode for volunteers for the 2021 event. The dates are 26-29 August and we are very excited!

We’ve now sent out emails to those who have already completed the volunteer application form in 2021, as well as a second email to those who have volunteered with us in 2018/19 and who applied for 2020 but weren’t able to be here for obvious reasons. (And if you in the group who possibly received BOTH of those emails, our apologies!! Can you tell we’re really excited to be able to have you back?!)

Well it's not very often I'll have a rant but here comes!! Was out hacking this evening and unfortunately have to use a road to get to and from the forest. Most drivers are quite sensible considering the rural setting however, tonight I was passed by an unmarked police car. Now I am all in favour of having the law changed but I think this will be a major fail if even the police CAN'T slow down for horses!!! I was polite enough to wave and say thanks, so hopefully they'll think twice the next time.... Rant over......
