The World Of Fish And Pets is a family-run exotic pet shop owned by Brendan, Suzanne, and our animal-loving son Kyle. We started out in a tiny shop back in 2004, but have since moved to a larger shop in 2011. We take pride in breeding a lot of the animals in our shop, and we are dedicated to sharing our honest advice and wealth of knowledge to ensure animals are kept in the best possible way. We’v

e had years of experience keeping different animal species, which makes us confident in providing trustworthy advice to our customers. Our animals in store range from Reptiles, Amphibians, Invertebrates, Fish and Aquatics, as well as a large selection of live foods, dry goods, vivarium set ups, decor, and live plants. We have everything you need whether you're new to exotic pets or an experienced veteran! When you step inside our shop, you’ll be transported far away from gloomy Birmingham and into by a jungle-themed environment complete with live plants, feature vivariums, and even a cave! Here you'll find our Reptile and exotics side, and next to this is our dedicated Coldwater and Tropical Fish room. Many people are surprised to know we even have a crocodile in the shop we have raised since a baby! If you can’t find what you’re looking for in-store or online, don’t hesitate to ask us, we have a wide range of suppliers, as well as sourcing ourselves from European shows we regularly attend. What sets us apart is our complete dedication to ensure all our animals that we sell and care for are thriving and as happy as they can be. We would love to share the wonderful world of exotic pets with you and the joys these animals bring 😊

A tour of our tarantulas, spiders & insects we have in currently!

A really wide range of tarantulas/spiders in at the moment with new arrivals every week, from your curly hairs, pink toes, through to jumping spiders or huntsman spiders. For insects we have a range of praying mantis, stick insects and african land snails.

Looking to keep jumping spiders? 🕸️ We have some apache and bold jumpers in currently. Gorgeous little spiders, still quite small young ones at the moment.

Jumping spiders need a fairly simple setup, making them quite easy to keep, and with some handling okay (providing you have a calm one 😆)
