Did you know? A dog swimming for 5 minutes is the equivalent to a 5 mile walk!
Not only is it great for their fitness, it also builds confidence.. and they bloody love it!
(Most) dogs are natural swimmers, some however, need slight encouragement to start with and with regular sessions they end up like little furry fishes! 🐟

Shall I add it to my list of services I offer?!

In my opinion, every dog should be muzzle conditioned. They are great for a variety of things, including vet trips and socialising around dogs/people.

It is important that you condition a muzzle instead of just putting it on and assuming your dog will be absolutely fine with it.

So, whats Yogurt got to do with muzzle training?
the tub provides a similar sensation to that of a muzzle, with the added bonus of a tasty treat at the bottom.

Today, we were conditioning Otto to the muzzle. Otto is an overseas rescue who is finding the world a little overwhelming and has a lack of trust in humans.

Honestly, watching Otto trying to fathom squeeze cheese was the best part of the session!

Today was day one of the session, and we've made a plan of what to do next and given both Izzy & Otto some homework to do in the meantime..
