The Northern Blue Tongue Skink is the largest skink endemic to Australia. Adults can reach a snout-to-vent length of up to 24”! In the wild, these animals use their Blue Tongues as a defence mechanism to warn off predators.

Blue Tongue Skinks can sometimes have a little bit of sass to them, but it is nothing short of bluff, and once they are out, they are wonderful animals to handle.

Their curious nature and varied diet generally make Northern Blue Tongue Skinks very popular as pet lizards in the reptile hobby! They do require a large enclosure and regular handling to ensure they maintain a healthy relationship with it.

Vietnamese Blue Beauty Rat Snake

The Vietnamese Blue Beauty Rat Snake is a gorgeous, semi-arboreal colubrid native to Southeast Asia. They are relatively long yet slender snakes, reaching lengths of 6ft to 9ft.

Their stunning colouration and split pattern are what draw many keepers to these animals. They can be on the more defensive side as babies/juveniles, but with frequent and consistent handling, they can become quite a pleasure to have out and handle. They are curious animals; they can be initially skittish when they come out of the vivarium, but with a little time, they take to being out quite well.

This species of snake would be more suitable for a keeper with a bit more experience, just due to the size they can get and the behaviours they can display.

We have 2 of these beautiful animals in at the moment, and they are currently on a special offer!

The Leopard Tortoise is a large and attractive tortoise found in the Savannas of eastern and southern Africa.

These beautiful animals are natural grazers and roamers and would make a wonderful addition to anyone's home.

They do require quite a large vivarium, but they can be amazing for a beginner keeper or someone with a bit more experience.

In captivity, these guys can live 80+ years, so definitely a big commitment for anyone who wants to take one home.

This beautiful Male Mali Uromastyx is available and ready to find his forever home!

The Mali Uromastyx is a beautiful, medium-sized lizard endemic to the deserts of West Africa. They are a herbivorous lizards known for their stout bodies, spiky tails, and vibrant yellow, orange, or grey colours.

Uromastyx can make for very rewarding pets; they require quite a large enclosure and enjoy very high temperatures. With frequent handling, they can make for a wonderful addition to anyone's collection.

This guy can be a little bit skittish initially, but as soon as he is out, he enjoys climbing all over people and being nosy about what is going on around him.

The Argentine Red Tegu would be perfect for that! With adults reaching 3ft to 5ft, the tegu brings a larger-than-life character to you and your collection.

This species will need a more experienced keeper due to the size they reach and the amount of regular handling and training required to ensure they are well cared for and socialised.

They generally have a great temperament and can make for a puppy-sized lizard!

With the temperatures getting warmer, we finally bit the bullet and decided that to help keep our staff and animals cooler during the warmer months, air conditioning was definitely a purchase that will benefit us in the long run!

Into your bigger snakes? So are we!! 🐍🐍🐍

We have some beautiful, bigger boas available for sale at the moment, including a gorgeous Hog Island Boa and a Hypo Jungle Common Boa.

Now, these boas need quite a large vivarium, so they definitely need someone with the space to give them a substantial home.

Bigger species always need someone a little more experienced with snakes due to their size and strength, but these two are beautiful to handle!

We are again closing today at 4pm due to the extreme heat; we are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are doing our best to keep the shop as cool as we can, but these temps are extreme, and we are all struggling.

If you are heading out, remember to wear lots of sunscreen and stay hydrated!

We are really hoping to be back open as normal from tomorrow, but we will keep you all posted if temperatures change!
