Had a fantastic one-to-one with Loki today! We're working closely with him and his pawrents to build his confidence, boost his engagement, and introduce some new cues.

To say I was impressed during just our second session would be an understatement. Loki is already showing brilliant progress! Such a clever boy with heaps of potential. Looking forward to seeing him continue to shine.

Great to see Wilf today! 🐾 (post training nap💤)
He’s developed quite the obsession with cats and other dogs, which had become a bit of a concern for his owners. We’ve started working on strategies to help satisfy his predatory motor patterns in a safe and structured way. Amazing progress so far. Well done, Wilf!

We’ve been working with Monty recently to help him with some of his excitable behaviours at home, as well as learning how to manage his enthusiasm when out on walks, especially around other dogs.

Monty’s making great progress, and with consistency and patience, he’s learning how to stay calmer and more focused both indoors and out. Well done to his owners for their dedication and hard work.

Meet the gorgeous Daisy!
Another super cute Golden Retriever we've had the pleasure of working with recently.

We've been doing one-to-one sessions with Daisy, helping her pawrents with their questions, establishing new routines, improving behaviours, and using counter conditioning techniques. We're also working on building up her focus and duration. She's doing brilliantly!

Well done, Daisy!

Lovely to see Monty today and to meet the newest addition, Alan!
Alan’s a 9-week-old Show Golden Retriever and already quite the character, going to be a big lad, that’s for sure.

Can’t believe how much he’s learnt already. I don’t think I’ve ever met a puppy his age who sits and waits at the door to greet visitors. Absolutely brilliant little chap!

Had a brilliant one-to-one session with the handsome Koru today! He’s coming along so well, much calmer at home and really starting to show his progress.

Do you have a herding dog who tugs at the lead or nips at your ankles on walks? You’re not alone, it’s a common behaviour in breeds with strong herding instincts.

Here’s a simple tip to help manage it:
Bring a tug toy (like a rope) along on your walk.

Before your pup gets the chance to start those herding behaviours, offer the rope and engage them in a bit of tug play. If your pup enjoys carrying the toy, let them!

Introducing a tug toy helps satisfy your dog’s natural predatory motor patterns . Think chase, grab, shake, in a safe and structured way. In turn, it can reduce or even stop the herding of your legs!

Give it a try and let us know how you get on.
